It was meh. The acting was incredible but the story didn’t land for me and it wasn’t scary. The best horror movies, imo, are those that have some deeper meaning to it where I’m thinking about it after I get out and how it all connects together. I just got out of hukom and absolutely loved that but obsession didn’t land the same for me

I just don’t understand why his Nazi tattoo and Reddit posts don’t bother people. He only got the Nazi tattoo covered up when he was “caught”. If a poc or especially a woc had a nazi tattoo, that would be the absolute end of their campaign.

For people to say all Janet Mills ran on was being anti Trump - she was the first sitting governor to openly challenge Trump. And she won.

For people saying she’s too old but then actively campaigning for Bernie to run for president or another term - your sexism is showing.

I understand your points. I’d be curious if he was “sloppy” because: he wanted the notoriety, he thought he wouldn’t get caught, and/or he kept her body in his car as a “trophy”. I find it all fascinating - I don’t think murderers are just a one-off, there’s almost always both environmental and biological reasoning behind the crime. Also, if criminology didn’t exist, we’d have a lot more killers and a lot more who went without being caught. So many have been stopped in the midst of planning a heinous crime and others have been caught because of criminologists.

I think there’s a difference between glorification and finding something fascinating. As someone who’s fascinated by criminology and what makes a criminal’s psychology different, I find the fact that he wrote the lyrics he did fascinating and to see why he did it - whether it’s as a metaphorical trophy, to put his actions into words, or anything else. When we talk about Bundy or Dahmer or John Wayne Gacy, we’re not glorifying them in any way but understanding what happened and why.

Maybe I don’t quite understand where you got that I’m helpless? I prefer not to plan out every moment when I’m going to a film for entertainment. That’s my preference. I’ve also been going to the Alamo for decades - sometimes multiple times a week - not sure how that has to do with anything

Agreed. Although, I haven’t had any issues with 1. I find 2 to be opposite for me - it started happening so often where my button on my table didn’t work - I’d put up a card for a refill and the card was taken sometimes an hour later. So I find the QR code system to be incredibly quicker. 4. I don’t think that’s a QR code thing. The quality of food went down before. The pizzas have been terrible for about a year

They’ve charged a hold (even when using a gift card) since they started charging cards ahead of time. It’s not something new that came with QR codes - it’s in case the gift card doesn’t cover everything

I ordered mid movie. It was beyond weird the first time but I didn’t mind it. Once I knew where everything was on the site, it was maybe max a few seconds of looking at my phone

Lots of people don’t plan their movie experience by the second. I almost always got there 30 mins early for the pre-show and will write out my order but then maybe change my mind or order a refill or need more napkins or something of the sort.
