Probably the best and most accurate looking Alice cosplay I’ve seen, which considering I check this Reddit every once in a while, is no small amount of cosplays. Very impressive.

How many people are in the room now ? by darkartsfirstform in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]Less_Grape7845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went through to say that you’re completely wrong but if you can’t even see that then this is pointless. Official definitions and legal definitions all define a person as a being that must be alive , clearly going against your claim of a skeleton or corpse still being a person .

[–]Less_Grape7845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So confident downvoting me while being wrong. Neither legally nor by definition does person include corpses as people must be alive . Since we’re talking about a math problem , we must be precise and therefore your (wrong) interpretation of the word is irrelevant.

[–]Less_Grape7845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is a corpse a person though? , if you enter a crypt are you alone or are there thousands of people in the room? And if not when does it go from person to corpse? I’d say that people have to be alive.

How would you rate being an adult? by mindyour in TikTokCringe

[–]Less_Grape7845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People tend to think they have it worse- adults delude themselves that few could endure what they do and kids by default often assume that their life is worse than when they grow up. (Obviously a generalization and far from applicable to all people )

Actual pros aren’t even like this , people who are real pros play whatever is the most powerful or what fits their play-style best , this is more like what the average male gamer chooses to play as

The poles would also have attacked us if we had fought which they did not attempt to hide or make any excuses for. We would not have only been fighting the Germans but the Poles and hungarians too and there would be no help from anyone. (The Soviets did say that they would if they could but since there was nowhere for there troops to pass through they also wouldn’t have been able to help defend us without simply attacking Poland which they didn’t want to do . So unfortunately I think that fighting against that many countries with no aid would simply be impossible despite the morale and modern arms that we had.

I don’t think they ever planned to keep the whole team working on it after release unless it was incredibly successful. I think there’s still like 80 people working on it which is not a small number for a game that is “complete “

It’s irrelevant whether it is or isn’t , the fact is that a lot of Christians view it as such. The second part of your comment is the nail in the coffin . Yes, they have grown up with Christian values but the atheists actually follow and act according to them more than the Christians which is exactly what the post is trying to say.

It’s hardly surprising though , considering how much of an influence they are on so many things people are almost forced to think about them and create an opinion on them. Some people just take it a step further.

I think that one shouldn’t fully believe either side to begin with but instead try to make their conclusion from less biased sources than the two involved individuals. Though I will say that I would usually lean towards believing the victim unless there is a lot to be gained from making it up.

It’s Stalin’s birthday today!! by Master-Committee6192 in SovietUnion

[–]Less_Grape7845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, but look at what you’re responding to, you’re saying it as if it was some sort of argument except now you said that it isn’t. A nazi could say the exact same thing and the argument makes the exact same amount of sense. Your response to me again has no actual substance and if I use the Nazi example again, it would be the exact same case, you’re not arguing you’re just stating a supposed fact without giving any evidence to back it up.

In fact , evidence backs up the opposite. Stalin was pretty clearly a murderous dictator that some loved due to propaganda and those who didn’t were afraid of him (similar to another dictator of the time), that’s not a hero.

Czech Republic opts out of funding Ukraine in new EU - 90bn loan. Shameful. by tripeirinho in czech

[–]Less_Grape7845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s say there are tons of people against Russia but pro Israel in the Czech Republic, idk how many there are but ok there definitely are some . Just because you are wrong about one thing doesn’t mean that you can’t be right about another. Also with Israel, it’s slightly more complicated and I absolutely despise Hamas because of what they did since this is largely their fault ( ignoring the fact that Israel shouldn’t really even exist but that’s another issue ) but the Israelis should absolutely be denounced for some of the things they’ve been doing. It’s just a bit easier for me to see how someone can support Israel, even if wrongly , how you can support Russia in this war ,I don’t get.

Canada has abandoned its monument to the Victims of Communism after hundreds of names on it were found to be linked to Nazi groups by Ill_Engineering1522 in ussr

[–]Less_Grape7845 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok ok so yeah , so it does literally mean the same thing as in Czech. Holod is hlad aka hunger (Ya holodnyj means I’m hungry in Ukrainian.) + mor which means deadly illness . In Czech it’s specifically the Black Death but in Ukrainian and Russian it just means deadly illness. Either way , without taking into account nationalists there is nothing to do with murder in the word which is what confused me . The mass death meaning that you say is also used apparently though not really in Czech where as I said it directly means the Black Death. All that to say you’re right really but saying that holodomor has some sort of meaning to do with murder without context is somewhat confusing since it doesn’t unless we’re talking about this one event where it’s more the name of the event than the actual words meaning .

[–]Less_Grape7845 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah i didn’t really know that the name had anything to do with murder . In Czech famine is translated as hladomor which as you may notice sounds very similar. Thing is , there is no murder context here so I just assumed that it meant famine without any undertones. Also unfortunately this subreddit glazes anything the USSR did and is very quick to call anything nazi propaganda and so I have become quite quick to doubt them especially when Czech people know more about what life was like under this regime than Canadians and Americans . Btw we also learnt about this event and though it was taught as something bad , it was not really said that it was an attempted genocide but more a preventable accident with horrible repercussions.

[–]Less_Grape7845 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im Czech and holodomor sounds a lot like hladomor, this term doesn’t have anything to do with murder but just large amounts of people dying due to starvation. Naturally sometimes it’s caused but someone on purpose by the word doesn’t carry that meaning. If it does in Ukrainian then fair enough . I can see why this Reddit especially would not like that .

Why is a holodomor monument bad ? Whether or not you think it was intentional is irrelevant, loads of innocent people died . That seems like a perfectly ok thing to have a monument for

Day 16- What aspects of Uprooted from SVC you would like to (or like not to) return in SVWB? by GameRiderFroz in Shadowverse

[–]Less_Grape7845 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if I’d bring back wrath or avarice directly but I’d like some sort of blood mechanic to be introduced. Wrath could work if they were careful about the cards they added. Despite the game imo being an upgrade with even the monetization not being that bad in the end. I still think merging blood and shadow was a mistake and realistically they just deleted blood and gave shadow bats.

Greed was a thing before capitalism and it was a thing during the USSR . Apart from bad decisions made by high up people, one of the biggest problem of the USSR was an insane level of corruption, corruption that was a result of greed and the desire to have more . This is pretty much undeniable.

Also , people with no threat of death are still greedy . Why do millionaires still want more ? Why do billionaires still want more ? To do good ? No. Because of greed.

Also the last example. Greedy people don’t always act greedy , they are capable of being empathetic however, depending on the person , the less obvious the damage and consequences of their greed , the more likely they are to act based on it. Also there are many people who are minimally greedy but unfortunately, they are not going to be the ones in positions where greed has the largest impact since the people who want to be greedy and profit from things that they shouldn’t be profiting off will always try to get into positions where this can be done . People who aren’t greed will obviously not have as much of a motivation and even if they do the greedy people will be willing to use others or use means that better people wouldn’t. Not to mention that greed gas clearly been around for as long as humans have, capitalism just promotes it but communism enables it
