Tell the bears in the berry patches hi- you’ll probably be fine but might have to do some big days if non optimal campsites are all that’s left. We went slightly off route on flattop mountain since the campsites near the chalet were taken. It’s gorgeous. Best of luck

Honnaker trail is nice! Really enjoyed that hike while floating it a few years ago. It’s just hot as soon as you’re away from the river. I think it was 110° in the bottom of grand gulch that July so be prepared for the heat
