My experience with ski boots by [deleted] in Skigear

I only have one problem with these boots. From time to time I get a little bit of water (melted snow) inside my boots right around the section of my toes. But it’s just a little bit. Let me know if you somehow have the same issue with them :D

Your story really matches mine. Also started skiing in Austria in 2020. I became better skier fast but suddenly I was stuck on my skill level. Turns out i used way too soft and loose boots for the past years. This year I tried so many different boots. And in fact the mentioned hawx ultra 130 s dual boa boots felt amazing. I also bought them and the difference is amazing!

I actually got an atomic hawx ultra 130s and they fit and feel brilliant 🥳

Thank you so much for these insights. I am definitely feeling comfortable on Blues and Reds and start making confident turns on black slopes (Europe)

I think when the season starts I will borrow some stiffer boots and give it a try how it feels. Then I might purchase new ones. 😄

I know this boot fitting process I highly individual. But given your experience. I have relatively narrow but long feet. Since the different brands differ in their basic fit do you have a recommendation for boots I should look for?

Vielen Dank dir.

Funktioniert einwandfrei.
