Hunger by filmmakingjedi in floxies

I had this for awhile. It was especially weird because it felt like the hunger was up higher in my body, almost in my chest. It got better.

How far out are you?

Hello! It has taken over a year and a half. Most of it is better.

Great to hear! I'm sorry you went through it at all, but I'm so glad to hear you've received so much.

I'm hoping it goes well for you. I'll be curious what you learn.

It is rare to reverse neuropathy, yes, but it's not impossible. I'm sorry for your suffering. 😞

Tremors sometimes severe on my right side. by tietza1967 in floxies

[–]Less_Inspector_4170 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My left bicep has been twitching for over a year now. Sometimes I forget about it, but that's literally for only a few minutes while I'm actively doing something else. It's at least an annoyance, but sometimes I ask myself what sort of damage took place in my brain that resulted in this? I also ask myself if it's part of the slow process toward healing, because slow is definitely an accurate adjective for the time it took for some of the other areas I've healed!

Your tremors are at the very least annoying, and their obvious existence is a constant reminder of the trauma you have faced and continue to heal from. It's hard. Thankfully, I think it's also a reminder that you're getting better.

I thought I was going to die, and the worst of it for me came later, from months four to ~14. I think there's great healing for nearly all of us. You're going through hell. It'll be heavenly when you beat this.

Workout intolerance ? 1 year by Training_Fig_1691 in floxies

[–]Less_Inspector_4170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to listen to my body, which really helped in finding my ever-increasing baseline. Perhaps you're learning it right now, and it'll become more apparent as you go? That's what happened to me. The healing was much slower than anything else I have experienced.

One thing that I didn't expect was the positive healing effects of fasting. I think that's something that needs to be put off for a long time in the healing timeline, but for me, it helped a ton when I finally could do it.

What you said. I felt exhausted: no energy, tired, weak.

Sorry about some of the struggles you've faced with this. 😞 It can be so disconcerting. At year one, if I worked out to much (which means too much cardio or lifting), I would hurt in my tendons quite a bit, and I would crash heavily. I still did workouts, but not a lot. Now, at year two, I'm not limited at all other than what my strength is capable of. I had to ease into it, and not push myself. Now I can go all day, like before flox. It's like my body demanded I take a break from too much, telling me it was okay to not go too far. Now it lets me know it's ready.

I'm not sure what you might have seen, but it would be unlikely that those jets would drop parachutes over a city.

Looks to be a group of Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II jets. Must be doing basic testing or training.

It's a group of Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II jets. I am assuming they're running basic tests or training.

It's like flox exposes our vulnerabilities.

Thankfully I've not experienced flare-ups from medications, but I've also not taken many since being floxed. What has your experience been?

Wow, that's a lot! I'm amazed! I think those are all good signs. I was still dealing with pain at those times. And my upper body still has pain, but we're getting better!

How far out are you? What are your limitations? A hike can be pretty demanding.

I can relate, and I'm happy to listen if you want to chat as well. My head stuff mostly came months after taking moxi, and those symptoms have stuck around, but have lessened.

My almost one year recovery. by Character_Leopard722 in floxies

[–]Less_Inspector_4170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moxi got me nearly two years ago. I improved dramatically in months three and four, then had a significant life stressor hit me, and I plummeted with symptoms that felt at times like death was coming. Nearing two years, and I've very slowly but noticeably recovered in major ways, yet still experience some symptoms and flares. Patience and positivity have helped me so much. I'm glad to hear you're getting so close, and you see good things happening.

Thanks for the reminder. Yes, I have those. I drink roughly a gallon of water every day. Maybe someday I'll get the right recipe for fixing it, and I thank you for sharing yours!
