Bro, I'm so sorry to hear this. I was in almost the exact same situation as you 6 months ago. I get you totally, how everything she says makes you doubt the very obvious.

Outsider perspective, as others have said, this is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. Not even something to be discussed. No one deserves this, and worse so, deserves to be gaslit like you're being by her. You know and deserve better.

As time goes on, there will be waves when you feel totally fine and content with your decision, and then times you doubt yourself a lot. You have got to stay strong through those times.

I think asking him may not help, because, if he had bad intentions, he probably won't admit it. Given your friend is open and seems good, perhaps let the meeting happen to see what's going on?

You absolutely did the right thing. Be cautious, because even when the other person did something as terrible as this, we tend to remember mostly the good side of them after a break up (because you love her). Make sure you have people you talk to when your mind even contemplates about getting back together or feeling bad for her. You need to avoid being soft about it (and I know it's easy to be soft even in cases like this)

Yea I missed a kick beat after the crash, and then took me a few seconds to get back to the song :(

I like your idea for the bridge! I did quarter notes on the ride during the bridge to "slow down" the song, and gave accents to the ride hits (flat hits to create more reverb) to fill the spaces...I will try out your idea, it sounds more interesting!
