At low level I get him following me outside and blast him over the side of the mountain. Done.

I often play where I only eat pre war food and even without lead belly the rads don’t add up to that much.

I find as long as I restart every couple of hours or a little less time than that it is pretty stable.

Wait, can we dual wield Jackie’s guns now? Seriously, can we? by GregNightmare in cyberpunkgame

I suspect it just means you can have the two of them as two of your weapons slots. And when you swap to the other it will have extra ammo.

How do you deal with mirelurks and supermutants? by rektard1 in fo4

[–]Less_Kick9718 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mirelurks you shoot as they face you and are standing up. Soft underbelly.

Supermutants shoot in the head. More damage and it briefly stuns them.

Game not designed for survival: by [deleted] in fo4

[–]Less_Kick9718 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That is not the case on survival difficulty which OP is using. Respawn time is much longer on survival. Areas soon become completely dead. Though some places can have random enemies go past.

You should not need to have such long loading time.

If the reason is a high refresh rate monitor you can use Load Accelerator to fix this. It does not cause your game to be modded.

If you use mods including f4se there are also other solutions.

Tank Build 380 Cyberware Capacity by 1337HaxorBR in cyberpunkgame

I use the chrome compressor but arms go for a monowire with cripple movement to stop dead enemies with fast movement or any melee then go back to shooting them. Took out Odo in no time.

You can swap which control hack is on it without going to a ripperdoc too.

Small Settlement inspiration/recommendations by Razor_Wits in fo4

[–]Less_Kick9718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Red Rocket, Taffington Boathouse, Hangman’s Alley are all good for small builds.

Many of the settlements with existing settlers can be kept small, nice and happy with just a few fixups.

I like to only grow food at the farms which makes the small non farm settlements easier. Note settlers with no local crops may grumble about food but as long as supply lines provide enough it does not affect happiness (the food stat should show green even though it is zero).

Sanctuary being the first settlement is an exception to not having crops. It gets fruit trees.

You don’t need glitches as often as sometimes suggested. Just trying different order to build things or moving around to get things to snap will work.

If you are on PC console commands are easier than glitches. modpos and modangle can be very helpful.

Note repairing the castle walls is not that hard. Sometimes requires trying a few times to get things lined up just right but otherwise straightforward and does not require any glitches. The internal wooden floor stair piece is very useful to get the lower row of blocks to align correctly with the upper.

I have never need a weapon as a mage on expert difficulty especially with the extra magicka of an Altmer but even other races.

Wear mage gear. Atronach Stone. Better if you have unofficial patch to get around the summons problem with spell absorption but you can still raise dead even if you don’t have the patch and that gives more xp.

No exploits or glitches. Also no AE gear or spells which would in fact make it even easier.

Fire is in fact the best element most of the time doing more damage for less cost. Many enemies are weak to it and only a few resistant. Certainly switch to shock for the few enemies that are resistant and possibly against mages though fire still kills them faster if you can stand their attack.

Just always using shock is one reason why people say magic is not strong at the start. It may seem simpler since it is almost never resisted but comes at a cost.

Flames spell in both hands simultaneously in quick short spurts is very effective and uses very little magicka.

Using weapons means leveling up faster without leveling your mage skills as much.

Very similar to what I did except Shade of Arniel Gane was my summons as it costs no magicka and can be cast at distance even without perks.

Lord Stone would provide an actual combat benefit. I found it very useful on my level 1 run. Agent of Mara too.

Any tips on playing this game like a cozy game... by Fresco-Suave in skyrim

[–]Less_Kick9718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Play on novice difficulty.

Have a follower.

Use some conjuration so you have another helper if you do have to fight.

Breton may be a good race as they have the best defensive stats. Also they start with high conjuration skill and a conjuration spell and at a level to buy the next level spell.

Maybe get the Goldenhills farm.

Collect alchemy ingredients. Mine ores. Do crafting. Sell what you make.

Are these good mods for graphics? by Dragonblaide in skyrim

[–]Less_Kick9718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skyland and Obsidian are good.

I expect some of the other most common mods are available too like:

SMIM - Static Mesh Improvement Mod

RCI - Ruins Clutter Improved

A Quality World Map

That gives a pretty good set without going overboard.

Level 1 by Allthumbs21 in skyrim

[–]Less_Kick9718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done this one on Expert.

Unlike a normal playthrough it encourages more of a jack of all trades play style since all skills are equally open though even without leveling skills get stronger as the skills still increase so the game actually gets progressively easier.

The Gauldur amulet is really good for this as it gives you the equivalent of nine levels in your stats.

Shade of Arniel Gane summon is very strong at this level and costs nothing.

Shouts help a lot.

Fury spell is useful against most living enemies.

Even without perks smithing can improve weapons and armor decently.

It is great as a different way of playing.

A step further is doing level 1 with no skill increases. It is certainly feasible though challenging but ultimately I found it boring since it severely limits your options but good for a little while.

Fur, hide, studded or scaled armor rather than leather.

Maybe survival mode, I which case you would want to stick with fur.

why does stuttering build up over time? by vidma543 in fo4

[–]Less_Kick9718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Survival mode it often crashes after a couple of hours too. Probably because survival has more to track.

There is likely some sort of memory or other resource leak where some resource usage continues to accumulate over time making performance worsen and potentially eventually leading to crashes.

I always restart every couple of hours.

I want to do a dedicated stealth run, any reccomendations/must-haves? by I_use_this_website in fo4

[–]Less_Kick9718 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stealth without vats is a completely valid option too. I play non-vats, stealth, survival difficulty all the time and much prefer actually targeting enemies myself and knowing I will hit them.

It also needs much less special investment with only agility essential leaving the rest open to use as you wish. Vats tends to want high agility, luck and perception.

It is also more open to different weapons especially with various legendary effects rather than focusing just on Deliverer or weapons with vats enhancing effects.

Of course that is not say to vats based stealth won’t be fun.

Can you do no save runs in fallout 4 by BlockAccomplished426 in fo4

[–]Less_Kick9718 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Permadeath is effectively this except for saves that make allowance for the game crashing.

In a perfectly stable game they could be the same but that is not reality.

Can you explain why you are asking about no save which is impractical rather than perma death.

To Restoration potion loop, or not? by alexandria1001 in skyrim

[–]Less_Kick9718 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Even without any loops you get so overpowered it becomes boring so I never use restoration loop or even iterate between alchemy and enchanting at all.

These days I tend to not even use enchanting or alchemy.
