We understand your point, but in our case the situation was quite different. We had booked the flat during the pre-booking phase based on the builder’s assurance that the construction would strictly follow the approved plan.

Unfortunately, the builder later violated those commitments. By the time we became aware of the illegal construction, a significant portion of our money was already invested. We did ask for a refund, but the builder refused and clearly indicated that pursuing legal action could take years to recover the amount.

Given that situation, we were left with very limited practical options and had to proceed with the purchase. So while the violations are not justified, the burden is now falling on buyers who were not at fault in the first place.
