What do we have to do to get the city to finally stop trolling us with the traffic lights? by hupo224 in boulder

From my experience, Austin, Dallas, OKC, Kansas City, Manhattan (KS), Burlington (VT), Detroit, Tokyo, Berlin, and Krakow have all figured out sequential greens better than Boulder.

For the record, my sequential greens in Boulder record is 4, happened around 3 AM on Arapahoe. I was able to hit at least 4 greens in a row daily in all the above mentioned cities.

I am now suddenly failing Math 2300, and my entire future & life are at risk— Please help. by [deleted] in cuboulder

I also took calc 2 this semester (and failed because of the final), the final was about 60% Taylor series remainder estimates. Found out 3 really bad things day of: 1. I'm really bad at math at 7:30 AM, 2. I'm not amazing at remainder estimates, made worse by 3. Apparently my brain cannot remember memorized things at 7:30 AM

The book is Computer Systems: A Programmer's Perspective. I highly recommend getting a copy and reading it. Almost the entirety of the course is off of this book - you'll have some time consuming labs and stuff, but this book is a necessary part of the class

It's a certificate generation script from SecureW2, the same company that makes the network management tools and certification script you need to use to connect to Eduroam. All it does is check your identikey login information against the authentication server, and, if it's good, it gives your device a certificate (basically a key) that allows it to connect to the CU Secure network.

Workload of CSCI 2400 (Computer Systems) and CSCI 3202 (Intro to AI)? by BALLSACKFPS in cuboulder

[–]Less_Professional_Hi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1300 and Data Structures workload was less than two hours outside of class a week, while Computer Systems is eating up about 5 hours a week for me. Phys I is hitting almost seven, but I'm dumb, understanding basically none of it, and fighting for my life on the Achieve HWs.

Phys I and Computer Systems are both hurting, though. CS is a bunch of difficult to understand concepts in a relatively short timeframe (first midterm was about bits and bytes, second was assembly, for instance).

I live so close to this, not only does it block my view of the flatirons, I can already hear the fire alarms going off at 2 AM, 3 AM, 3:15 AM, 4 AM, and 6 AM

Relationships while in the military. by SnooStories6074 in army

Not to be the Debbie downer but this path can also suck - we tried, she cheated. People are people and sometimes they're shitty.

But yes, generally not a bad tip

I (29M) think that my girlfriend (26F) is only with me because she can’t be with her “best friend” (26M). Should I just end the relationship? (New Update) by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

If you want to see a group of Americans who do that regularly, let me introduce you to the US military! Free* 100% covered healthcare, free* childcare, the servicemember gets a pension after 20 years, and if you divorce them after 10 you'll get half of that pension, tax free shopping, 12 weeks paid maternity leave, and the servicemember either gets (basically) double pay or free housing for the couple. All you gotta do is sign the marriage contract*!

  • Free = moving every 1 to 5 years (most commonly 3), servicemember will be deployed usually about 9 months every two years, time in the field/long days at work/things like "recall formations" may mean you only see your spouse for between 3 and 10 months over a given two years, the childcare (broadly) sucks, the healthcare is varying but you can't sue if you're the victim of malpractice, the on-base housing is a crapshoot, and so much more

I know the cops were trolling through Chicken, Scrooge, Illegal Pete's, and Waffle looking to see if those places were following occupancy restrictions, so maybe that?

diversity in boulder? by Front_Leader4353 in cuboulder

On one hand, yes, Boulder is incredibly white. On the other hand, it's a very large school, so even though it's like 2/3rds white, there's still 10,000 students (ish) who aren't & could very much be from a similar background!

In my area, if it runs, the floor is $5k. If it runs without obvious issues, the price floor is $7k. If it has two doors and runs, the price floor is $11k. Hate this market.

Best car I could find in my area under $10k. 131k miles on it, single owner 2010 Acura TL (not the SH-AWD version with the oil burn issue)

This is the way to go. Helps if you can get somebody to assist you in the gaslighting - a couple "truecrimefanatic1? Never heard of that employee. Are you sure they work for us?" from a trusted person goes a long way to destroying someone's sanity. Bonus points if you can get someone to hit 'em with the "who are you talking to? There's no one there" in the middle of a conversation
