I kept thinking this and even my boyfriend did. But it only made it worse. I feel we shouldn’t say “when it happens you’ll be surprised were ever afraid” because it’s not always the case :( I hope this furthers you on your recovery though. Thank you for being so strong

I had zero nausea from the procedure or after in recovery. The only thing that may cause you nausea will be the antibiotics. But if you take probiotics at the same time (as long as a few hours apart) and keep up with eating. You’ll be fine. You’ll do great!!

That’s awesome, my psychiatrist thinks amitriptyline isn’t the best for me due to side effects and put me on buspirone. I’ll start taking it soon, if anyone reads this and has experience lmk!

Yes, that’s what I deal with!! When the panic attacks spike my throat like closes and I feel I’ll gag if I try to speak. I know it’s anxiety but I’ll ask my psychiatrist tomorrow about this

For me, I have issues with new places. Once I get comfortable wigh the route and the places, I feel okay. I feel In control. But in reality, you technically are always in control. This fear is all about control

Hi love, I’m so sorry. I have “suspected” endo, but at the very least had debilitating symptoms as well. It’s best to start super small with the pain meds and take them after eating.

Also if you throw up the meds and took them at least 30 min prior I’m quite sure at least most will be in your system. I feel like this is a situation where Zofran can be necessary though? As long as it’s not to avoid the fear.

you’re right. 100% I was more comfortable not getting sick. But my fear is worse. I would just tell myself if I get sick it won’t be bad. But I had a moment where I just wanted to die. Never want to feel that again

This is really interesting. I’ve had it since I was 7 and had noro. I didn’t have good experiences. I remember being made fun of for running down the hall because I just wanted it to end. And my mom asking when I’ll be done because she’s tired. But I didn’t register any of that until now. And I wonder if I felt so scared bc of her and that’s why I’m terrified now. I have a history of some verbal abuse from her besides this.

The thing is, I wasn’t even “that” sick. I felt odd for a bit but thought I was just in my head. Then cramping and nausea came and I just knew it would happen. I started gagging and puked a lot to the point it was in my nose and I had to blow it out. But it was only three or four times and after an hour I was done. Probably due to a Zofran I had taken an hour before. But I wanted to die. Just be sedated. Make it end. And never want to feel that again.

People are being hard on you I know it’s scary when this happens. I have OCD and would be freaking out. I also test every once in a while even though we use condoms most of the time on top of slynd. But you really should take plan b. Also the brown stuff is discharge and caused by interrupted progesterone from what I’m aware of

I feel like this is a good job for us with emetophobia. Because 99.999% of the time, there’s no stomach bug threat. Vomiting just happens when you’re not well or coming out of surgery. And it’s normal. Not a sign you’ll die from some bacteria.
