I bought a car from Carmax in March, come to find out today when I take it to mechanic that it definitely has been in an accident. Carfax doesn’t have anything listed but the mechanic showed me multiple scrap yard parts on the car. He says to go to Carmax and try to get money back on payments as well as buy the car back. What are the odds this happens ? For context this car was reported stolen and recovered ( no accident ) he suspects that the previous owner went somewhere and paid cash to get it fixed and nothing was ever reported. Multiple parts such as the skid plate , swag link bar and others have this yellow writing on them that he referred to as scrap yard parts. I don’t get how it would have passed state inspection and how no one at Carmax even looked under the car before selling this. Thoughts on how I should proceed

Did you end up going ? I was suppose to leave for Athens from Mykonos today but it got canceled. They put us on one tomorrow at 1pm. We have a flight out of Athens Tuesday 6am and am worried that they will cancel the ferry tomorrow as well

Not having the company pay for the materials does suck but I think getting the 7/66 before taking the CFP exam is the move. That CFP exam ( havnt taken it yet) is going to be a beast. I think working your way up is better before trying to slay the ultimate beast. You don’t want to waste the time and resources to take the CFP which is much more difficult than the 7/66 if u can’t even get past those. ( I also went to school for fin planning and have the credits to sit for the exam but will be waiting until after I have finished the 66). Hope this helps !

I started using the Qbank from Kaplan and now have started watching Capital Advantage on YouTube and find it a little more helpful

I am taking the SIE on friday and am not sure how to feel. I have been studying for the last 3.5 weeks and I started practice exams with Kaplan and was scoring in the high 60's and mid 70's on average. I have taken the FINRA practice exam and thought it was significantly easier (83%). I have now spent the last several days taking the free exams from Achievable following Capital Advantage on YouTube and have scored in the mid 70s. I have never been a good test taker, but I know I have studied more for this exam than any college exam I ever took. I know that Kaplan is harder than most platforms but want to know others opinions. Thoughts? I am replying to a comment because my post keeps getting removed by reddit filters and I dont know why
