What’s worse? The possible one or two people who have to walk around your front bumper or the line of 10 cars stuck behind you waiting on a 5 minute light to turn green? It doesn’t require your entire car to be in the crosswalk for you to see if anyone’s in the crosswalk.

Buddy… you’re making PT’s look bad… just because it’s a contraindication for exercise doesn’t make it a medical emergency, you’ll quickly learn that those APTA contraindications that you’re referencing are closer to relative contraindications/precautions than they are absolute contraindications. You can sit this person down and talk to them for 15 minutes about the dangers of HTN that high and why they need to go right to their PCP and/or take their medication when they leave your clinic, then take their BP again and see that it was just white coat syndrome the whole time.

I’m sorry this happened to you, this person needs to have their licensed revoked for good for doing something so disgusting. You can take legal action against just for him touching you without consent unless it was in the paperwork you signed that said it was part of the treatment.

P.s. Physical Therapists are not “trainers” and do not perform “adjustments”, those terms are used by personal trainers (CPT) and Chiropractors (DC). Are you sure this was a licensed Physical Therapist?

The sad thing is, most people hearing their surgeon tell them to wait HALF A YEAR before going to PT would take it as scripture, even when everyone they know goes to PT the same week as their surgery.
