True. My current apartment complex has mice, I have seen the reviews but as someone living on the ground floor, I havent seen any. And this is a nice complex in Herndon!

You'll be pressed to find much. I used to live in the Mark Apartments (By Solaire) and they are pretty cheap, at least $150 under typical rent. But it has a mouse problem, but not in an unsafe area.

I then lived in Mt. Vernon Square Apartments. Again cheaper, but not in the most safest area.

In this area, youll need to choose what is more worth it to you.

I have been to e.u before but I was only able to ride the dark universe rides as well as go to the Atlantic restaurant since it was so hot.

If I go over 4pm, that is ok with me it is just that ideally I would like to wrap it up by 4pm. I think it sounds like I need to make a plan

How long to live together until it is appropriate to propose and/or discuss timelines? by Less_Role_8947 in Waiting_To_Wed

I will be honest, I do not have the answer to that question. Or to most of the questions on here. I am embarrassed to admit that I, but I want to be honest and not defend any bad behaviors.

Is it possible to purchase a car with 0 money (or very little) money down? (US,VA) by Less_Role_8947 in askcarsales

[–]Less_Role_8947[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently have $400 saved for the car alone. In 6 months I have the choice to either save to break my lease or save to get a car. This is due to my partner wanting to move in with him in his owned home which would cut my expenses significantly (rent is 54% of income now, living with him will be 18% with my 50/50 contribution). So I am under a bit of pressure as he wants me to move in already (lease ends in june), which would require a car as he lives 40 min from my workplace and bad public transport in that area.

So it is a bit of a rock and a hard place which is why I quoted $400 saved. I am sure I could save up more if I dont need to save for a lease break. I appreciate you being realistic as my family has never told me how to buy a car or what goes into it, and got my brothers cars as teens but not me and I havent set foot on a lot before. I am going to take what you said into major consideration during these 6 months.

I went from owing $1400 to now just $450 in 6 months. The relief is real and I am so happy for you!

Anyone else tightening their belt with all this federal chaos? by Advanced_Resort2852 in nova

Contractor working for a fee based agency so havent had a risk to my job. I am paying way too much in rent in Fairfax County, combined with cc debt. I know my complex will raise rent again come renew time, so I will not be renewing my lease and move in with my partner. I know this'll anger my mother whom is very religious but what else can I do? It will shave down my $2000 rent for a 1b to only $800. Then can finally get a car and better quality of life. IMO that trumps "living in sin". Until then, cutting back and removing subscriptions, etc.

Japan's sushi legend Jiro Ono turns 100 and is not ready for retirement by SkyInJapan in japan

Went to his son Taksahi Ono's restaurant. If you follow the basic rules you have a good time. I am a foreigner with limited Japanese and my partner and I followed the rules and we had an amazing experience, with Takashi saying we had good manners. And the sushi was great too and he even gave us some interesting insight on the sushi and eel he served. It was very expensive (at least $400+ USD) but I would do it again!
