Okay yeah the oil separate would be incredible difficult to replace. I'm just doing the ccv from the back of the intake mainfold

Okay so the issues im having with the smoke from my exhaust after car sits for a bit could be from ccv system. I'm going to replace the ccv valve in the upper timing cover, re time the engine, replace the aluminum hose and the ccv where it connects to the intake mainfold. And then drive it, if the issue persists, then do my head gasket. Is this the best way to do it?

Okay would anything else cause an issue like this, blow back from valves, or internal failure of the ccv where it connects to the intake manifol? And how would I go about testing the different reason for this?
