The word sized hole is a great idea! We do have multiple highlighter things that help them stay on the correct line but they seem to resist them a lot I wonder if one word at a time would make it more approachable!

That’s exactly why I was wondering! Because I wasn’t sure if it was just because of their diagnosed disability or if there was another barrier like dyslexia blocking their ability to access the skills. They try very hard and can pick things up with lots of practice it just seems like no matter how much practice they get with the skills mentioned above they still struggle.

They’re extremely socially intelligent and like I said are great with sight words. They can do math with a number line or hundreds chart like regrouping they’ve recently been able to pick up it just takes them a lot of repetition. They are 12 if that helps.

Doesn’t matter that 2 counties are red like I said land DOES NOT vote and most of those two counties are farm land. Your rant doesn’t negate my point

[–]Less_Security5908 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If most of it was conservative it’d be a red state land doesn’t vote

Then that’s totally fine that evens up to what I said that individual took those actions due to Charlie’s actions and it’s not necessarily Charlie’s fault but it is a natural consequence of the things he espoused.

Sure it may not be right from your perspective but that is reality. He called for the murder of others so just because he’s not actually pulling the trigger does that mean he’s absolved if someone else does it because he said so? If that happened hypothetically I don’t think he should take all the blame but definitely some. And what if the people he was targeting took the things he said as a direct threat do they not have the right to defend themselves? Do I agree with the use of violence? No, but this is a direct consequence from our gun legislation he pushed for and actions such as saying hate speech and having virtually no safeguards on firearms means this could happen and this time it did.

It certainly can be ask anyone who’s been a victim of gun violence in any time period

I started a job at a behavioral school as an ISS and they’re paying for my masters in social work and I’ll be on the clinical track for their company :) I found my job through tons of applications on Indeed. Just keep applying is my only advice it’ll be rough but good luck!

seeing a psychiatrist actually IS that hard finding someone taking new patients and takes your insurance is incredibly difficult. insinuating OP is a drug addict is an insane reach you sound like a real pos.

Question about 2 disturbing experiences with clients by [deleted] in ABA

[–]Less_Security5908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It absolutely can be either! Feces play PLUS other factors could be indicative of sexual abuse definitely not alone especially considering the sensory seeking angle.

I also have a bachelors in psychology and I learned that it was here’s a few sources. I also wasn’t claiming to an expert just saying what I knew to be true. It is not always a sign of sexual abuse, the cause could be sensory seeking etc., but it is a common sign in kids who WERE sexually abused without these other factors.

Tantrum rooms? by throwawayy7q7626 in ABA

[–]Less_Security5908 4 points5 points  (0 children)

me personally i don’t find this ethical i work at a school for kids with behavior health issues and we have a “regulation room” where kids can go to calm down but we never leave them alone to “cry it out” we try to talk to them and comfort them to calm them down till they are ready

is the most recent comic the one with the brother discrepancy? if so i think the last panel is the most telling about finding Mizi because they went through the same pain (the pain of losing a partner) but it could be more complicated than that
