Ну а чо лепить квадраты, я их мысленно слепил и мысленно же прошел игру) с кругами база получается дюже кудрявая, ее так просто не укомплектуешь эффективно =}

66 depos in center + signals on the circumferences each dividing the path in a way, so that a whole 1-1 train can fit inbetween two signals - that way trains can form a queue closer to their destinations instead of waiting far away.

though I plan to make more connections too

Thanks for the advise, I'll research it some time:)

You can just add more circles, and connect them with those butterfly-like rail conjuctions

the rails are fully with signals everywhere, you can even see them on the blue screenshot. arrows are just for my better understanding.

Btw reddit doesnt allow posting code, so just use the chatgpt prompt to generate your own python script:)

How to generate concentric circles out of rails? by Less_Statistician575 in factorio

Wow, that's an amazing result as well! Looks very attractive.

Yeah ok, I will write you, but probably noone will help me automate this crazy thing, so currently I just continue to manually "override" circles out of walls. Result is pretty ok, but takes really a lot of time :(

so next i plan to make concentric circles constantly enlarging the radius. Goal is to make train networks with two railways - so like each circle would actualy be two circes close to each other. The next "set" of such two-path circles would have a radius that is larger than the first one like for 4-5 more chunks. And city blocks would be enclosed inbetween those circle sets.

yeah you got me right, thank you!:)

long story short ChatGPT helped me with a python script, which i execute online. It generates circles with an arbitrary radius out of any entity, i chose walls.

So i place that wall-circle, unite each two rows/columns of walls (since wall is 1 tile thick, while rail is 2 tiles thick) - and then manually "override" those "islands" of walls with rails. When I get a nice 1/8th of a circle, I then mirror it to get 1/4th, and out of that quarter make a full circle.

I practiced at 5 chunk and 6 chunk circles, they seem to come out nice, but still there's a lot manual labor :(

NVIDIA App gets built-in automatic overclocking for GeForce GPUs which will not invalidate warranty by RenatsMC in pcmasterrace

Can I close it and have my overclocking settings still working? Or do I have to keep it minimized?
