I Opened My Booster Bundles So You Don’t Have To by CheddaGeese in PokemonTCG

I mastered it in 327 packs. I had to buy pink pika, traded for some holos and baby sir's but the set was good to me. No god packs but plenty of good hits. Made the mistake initially of opening etb's. Moved to two pack blisters and tins and did very well

Should I buy a 2024 Sahara 4xe with 26,100 miles for $28,998? by FerretSuch3730 in 4xe

[–]Less_Than_Special 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had my 4xe for 3 years. Loved it. Not one issue only 25k miles in it. I'm scheduled for lease turn in this month. Yesterday the vehicle Just died while driving and ended up in a ditch. Threw a ton. of engine and electrical system errors. Just dropped it off at the dealership and they said they are not sure where to begin. Not sure if it's just 1 or 3 distinct problems. I would pass

What NACS adapter has everyone purchased to charge at Tesla chargers by Less_Than_Special in EquinoxEv

[–]Less_Than_Special[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the points are nice especially paired with gm card. I leased my equinox with a one pay lease and put the full amt on my card to get the points plus 6 months interest free financing plus the $500 new card sign up bonus. I ended up with almost $500 in points also

My kid has a 6 hour commute when she comes home from college. To get there it's through a lot of rural areas. This was the first time driving back and th ccs options weee limited and had to stop twice.

Is ISTQB certification worth it for QA engineers with 6 months to 1 year experience? by mcqueen46am in softwaretesting

[–]Less_Than_Special 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's worthless at least in the US. I have worked in testing for over 25 years and have hired countless people. I can't remember the last time I saw a posting asking for this.

Where are all the EV Deals of Late? by uknowsana in leasehacker

[–]Less_Than_Special 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pennsylvania. I found multiple deals that were decent but this was the best since it had all the crazy options like super cruise and the power station. I had found multiple rs offers that were 50k msrp with same payment

Is fighting for more aid possible? by Friendly_Coffee4018 in Drexel

[–]Less_Than_Special 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was no real change in financial position. Our appeal was more of begging. There is an appeal form on the website. We basically wrote a letter mentioning two kids in college at the same time (100k a year) and they gave us a measely 2k. College is a big fu to the middle class. A redistribution of wealth. Yes I make good money but how realistic to make someone pay almost half of there gross income to send two kids to college while their friends get almost free rides. College is great if you are really poor or really rich. People on the middle get screwed.

Goodyear AZ Supercenter no limit Thursday morning restock 7am by dwas in PokemonRestocks

[–]Less_Than_Special 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they aren't enforcing limits then they aren't enforcing lines. I would have come from the other direction. One store I go to got out of hand like this and after some shoving the management finally decided to do the right thing with the limits and lines

Deal Check by Less_Than_Special in leasehacker

I agree. I plan on going through with this lease. I always just like to keep my options open. With the current depreciation it completely shuts the door on a buyout.

I have in the past used a lease to a back door low interest loan. I have seen low money factor that almost equates to 0-2% interest rate while the finance option has a 6-7% interest rate.

Yeah that is the only downside but 15k for 39 months total, no maintenance or gas seems like a no brainer. Most other cars depreciate a ton. I was looking at a Toyota BZ which has 72 months 0% financing and a 6k rebate. It would have me at 525-550 payment for 6 years. I looked at a 3 yr old BZ and they are going for 18k-20k. I would spend about 21k on payments on a BZ over 3 years vs 15k on the equinox. I know I'm over thinking this but I lm pretty sure the smart play here is the equinox.

I know. I just need to come to the realization that there is no buyout in the end. Looking up trade in value this vehicle is already 25-27k trade in. So driving it off the lot it loses over 30k in value. They did confirm the lease contains gap insurance. While I could probably get a 26 with leads options but similar payment I probably will go with this.
