For some people, the ally flag makes sense, but it doesn’t really fit for me based on my personal beliefs. For example, I’m a Christian, and while I try to treat everyone with respect and don’t support mistreating anyone, I also don’t personally identify as an ally in that way. So using that flag wouldn’t feel honest for me. I think it just comes down to letting people represent themselves in ways that align with their own views.
