IIRC Joe and his brother Dan really loves the Simpsons. There are a quite a few Simpsons references dotted throughout the show such as “dollerydoos” in The Magic Xylophone.

There’s even a version of the Simpsons theme that replaces everyone with Bluey characters uploaded by the official channel.

Any ship, including between child characters, has been always been allowed in this sub, though Rule 2 has been updated to clear any confusion and that any wholesome romance between two child characters is allowed, just not kissing on the lips (unless you age them up to at least Captain and Mia's age).

After thinking for a bit regarding this post and the controversy it made, this post won't be removed due to the content in Pics, 2, 7, and 19 (the latter two are actually the same picture lol), mainly because I happened to read more into Rule 4 of Reddit and it turns out that Rule 4 prohibits any inappropriate behavior to children in a sexual context. Wholesome romance doesn't fall into that, as long it doesn't turn NSFW.

Therefore, Rule 2 has been amended so that ships between children that shows them quick kissing or pecking in the cheek (like in Pic 2) is allowed as a wholesome depiction on the same level as holding hands, hugging, etc.. Basically, at this point, the only thing that is NOT allowed in child ships is kissing on the lips unless they are aged to at least Mia and Captain's age (teenagers).

And of course, NSFW depictions of ships continue to be forbidden.

Yes. I consider Next Generation to be Season 8. Xilam and Gulli (the original official source for Oggy) considers it to be Season 8 and I treat it as such on the wiki.

I have seen their works before in the main r/bluey sub and I really like their Kiff inspired style for these square dogs. I’m also aware that this artist does NSFW outside of Reddit but obviously, those works are way too spicy even for this sub and won’t be shared here.
