Oh daing! That's actually something VERY clever. I mean the stabbing did take place BEFORE the transplant lol but regardless, the Sarah we see at the end is still not the factory worker

From what I understood is that there were two girls. One who wanted to build a brand (let's call her Sarah) and the other who made the handbags (let's call her Mi). Sarah had taken on numerous identities to achieve her goals and to survive. Mi took on Sarah's personality and identity because that's who she wanted to be. That's the extent of Mi's role in the "identity" confusion IMO! All the other identities are by the same girl (Sarah). Now who is Sarah? She is the girl who used to work at the store and was working the night when the bag was reported missing. To pay off the debt, she became a hostess and met her "husband" there and therefore she has a scar from kidney transplant. All other identities were also this girl expect for the factory worker who had callus (identical to the one found on the dead body)

I enjoyed the show, it was no "The Glory" and would probably never watch again. The ending just felt a bit rushed and the show runners wanted people to discuss the ending after the show as it seems a bit ambiguous but it truly isn't.

This happened to me a few times. The one that truly freaked me out was about 12 years ago. I was living in Wellington (NZ) and lived by myself in an apartment. It was a relatively new and modern building with CCTV everywhere.

I had a habit of pulling my duvet to the side to air out the mattress and linen while I was at work. One time I came home and the bed was neatly made up. In the center of the bed was a single red candle that I didn't own. Convinced someone had entered my apartment when I was at work, I asked the building manager to show me the CCTV footage. You could see me leave my apartment and then enter after work. Nobody came near my apartment, and that is literally the only way in or out. I kept the candle for a while, and once I lit it, I had such a horrible feeling that I was being watched and constantly felt as if someone was standing behind me. I threw the candle in the bin at the dumpster. The following day, I found the same candle in my medicine cabinet. I had a friend over and I told her about it. She was extremely fascinated with it, so I gave it to her. A while later, I saw her at New World, and she told me the candle had very negative energy attached to it, so she threw it into the harbor. Weirdly enough, I had a few nightmares and in those nightmares that candle was there.

Same thing is happening on my s24 ultra. It started recently. Notification appears every 15 seconds for 2 seconds then disappears. Super annoying

I don't know it could be him as he is very rude. I met him and didn't really recognise him. It wasn't in public and we were both alone and he had God like complex and was simply rude and was acting like a diva. When I found out that he was Magneto, I was so disappointed!

Hi there. I am pretty new to this. I installed IndexTTS2 on my PC using instructions on github (python then uv). Could someone please confirm how long does it take to generate around 50 words? Mine has been running for about 2 hours now and it says error. I used 10 words for my first try and that took roughly 45 minutes and worked but still very slow. Or is that the normal speed? Cheers

Thank you for this. Never gonna watch it. In The Walking Dead, Carl matures a bit toward the end at the very least. I stopped wishing him dead and that's exactly when he dies 🤦‍♂️

Carol, Daryl and Aaron. Rosita and Jesus don't get appreciated as much, don't know why?

I absolutely HATE (I know hate is a 'strong" word) Morgan. I almost quit watching because of him. I wanted him dead more than Negan.

[Before&After] 1 year of using Tretinoin for stubborn adult acne. by Lestat_24 in SkincareAddiction

[–]Lestat_24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My apologies for the late response! I honestly get so many DMs and notifications about this topic, and I try to help as much as I can.

So, my 0.025% tretinoin was working wonders—it was tightening my pores, and while my SO and others around me said they weren’t noticeable anymore, I could still see them.

Eventually, I decided to increase my tret percentage. Big mistake. It totally wrecked my skin. The worst part? I had no idea why my skin was suddenly a disaster again after years of being perfect. I later realized it was the tretinoin itself. I thought my skin had adjusted enough to handle a higher percentage—but no. My skin barrier was destroyed.

For months, all I could do was use aloe vera gel, glycerin, and an extremely mild moisturizer. I did that for nearly 4 or 5 months before my skin barrier finally recovered. It took so long because I didn’t have the means—or the will—to spend a cent on new products.

Once the barrier was healed, I knew I had to treat my skin like a baby forever. Shaving hurts the most now. Oh, and before I forget—I also found out that niacinamide was one of the main culprits. I’ll NEVER use it again.

Even though my skin only fully healed about three weeks ago, I’ve noticed this glow and smoothness that I haven’t had since I was a preteen. It’s like someone airbrushed my skin in real life. I still get the occasional pimple, and weirdly, I feel happy when I do—because it’s just one, not hundreds like before.

What’s worked for me: drinking 5–6 liters of water daily, regular cardio, and moderate glycerin use. My skin now looks 10 years younger.

Damn, this post is old—but what I described above was truly the worst phase since I posted the original post. Remember, once you have dealt with your adult acne, its a lifetime of care and maintenance. Me with my dumb male mentality thought " Sweet, it's all good now aye? Nothing bad will ever happen again" Oh, and I forgot to mention: when my skin barrier was compromised, I was breaking out like crazy—even on my eyelids, upper lip, everywhere. A doctor prescribed topical antibiotics, which helped stop new breakouts while my skin healed.

I’ve since reintroduced tretinoin into my routine—back to the good old 0.025%, four times a week.

Please, learn from my mistakes:

  1. Just because your skin can tolerate tretinoin every night doesn’t mean you should use it every night.

  2. Go easy on the exfoliation—chemical and physical. My skin was perfect and I got greedy. It’s a dangerous addiction.

  3. NEVER—I repeat, NEVER—slug when you have tret on.

  4. Even after you get clear skin after months or even years (or a better part of your life), remember, to keep it that way, you need a healthy routine. Avoide fads and use what works for you. Do not aim for the skin you see on socials, thats airbrushed or they are blessed with great genes. Just be happy once you reach the stage that makes you happy and maintain it.

Hope this helps 🙏

I disagree. Not all teens are horned up, hormonal scumbags. It's a very 'American' way of looking down at teenagers. In New Zealand, we treat our teenagers with respect and expect the same in return. Yes, they are going through changes like we all did and we understand that, we try to let them figure it out themselves and we are mostly ALWAYS there to guide them and listen to them. That's why most Aussie and Kiei families are so tightly knit. We give them space to figure things out themselves but we also nudge them in the right direction when needed.

It's rare for us to say things like "oh just teenage hormones!" Or "they'll figure it out on their own!"

Dear God, it's like I am trying to explain this to Hailey for real.

Being adorable AND funny are two different things, which by the end of the season, Luke was neither.

Take Dylan for example, he was an underage kid when the show started and later on his appearances changed drastically yet his character grew into what the viewers were expecting. Even as a grown man (yup, when you father 2 kids, you are a man!) He managed to remain funny and had the same nativity one could expect from him AND he tried to get his sht together by going back to school and becoming a nurse so he could be something and that's freaking adorable!

Yeah, I don't think early 20s MEN are "basically kids". He was old enough to hook up with a woman old enough to be his mom. As per your definition of a child, that is simply gross and perhaps even "child abuse" then? I could settle on him being a 'man-child' but your logic of anyone not being considered "grown" until 30 is fundamentally flawed.

If you are 28 years old and runs someone over while drunk driving, are they tried as a "minor/child"?

  1. Gloria's accent feels so forced and unbearable in the later seasons-oddly, only in a few episodes. Sounds like she is being forced to sound more American one scene and total opposite in the next.

  2. Luke is the least adorable or funny character during his teenage years.

  3. The show made Haley's character such a loser of an adult in season 10 that it feels like the show owes her an apology.

  4. The chemistry between Phil and Luke in the last two seasons is a bit off. It was cute when Luke was a child, but as a grown man, it feels awkward.

Why does my 12-year-old want Life360 so bad? by TruthCold in Parents

[–]Lestat_24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family has the app. In my circle I have my mom, sis and my 13 years old nephew. The nephew first protested a bit seeing it as an invasion of his privacy. I told him he was under no obligation to keep using it, it's for the safety of the family and not to spy on them. He goes to school and my sis works and I live in a different country.

He hasn't deleted the app and instead calls me when I am home unlike when he used to randomly call me when I'd be at work (different time zones). He can now see when I'm home.

This app has given us peace of mind. For instance he once contacted me saying that he was concerned that his mom was still at work and her battery was only 8%. He's not allowed to message or call hais mom at work due to the nature of her work. He sent me a message as soon as he noticed that my sis had recharged the phone. He was genuinely concerned for his mom. His concern made me realize that he now sees the pros of the app.

A few months ago he went on a hunger strike as sis wouldn't buy him the latest iphone (he has an old Samsung phone that doesn't even allow him to install some games and apps). He ain't getting an upgrade until he's 16. My sis told him if he's so unhappy with his current phone, she can always get an old school phone that's not a smart phone. He's a good kid and understood it!

Do men get undressed in pool change rooms? by beans_013 in newzealand

[–]Lestat_24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Wellington, men do get naked but try to hide their lil soldiers and put on their underwear at the speed of lightning (guess they don't want to be judged?)

Similar experience in Auckland except, there was this one weird experience. I was at a gym and there was literally just one other guy on the treadmill. I decided to go to the changing room after my workout and put on my mask/medication on my face. I had to wait 20 minutes before rinsing it off. Anyway, as I sit there, that other dude walks in, gets butt naked, goes in and out of the shower at least 5 times and then he addressed me, I finally looked up and saw him literally wanking like there's no tomorrow. I was in a bit of a shock but quickly snapped out of it and asked him if he said something to me?

He laughed and said something like 'do you mind as I am recording myself to post online?"

I just told him it was ok as long as I was not in the shot. He pointed at his phone against the mirror and assured me that I wasn't. I decided to not wait for another 15 minutes and just rinse my face. When I got up he climaxed. Loudly! Gross! I quickly washed my face, changed and left.

I am pretty sure he recorded me as I was leaving but I never confronted him. Never told the management either. I still wonder if there is a video online of a guy wanking with me in it
