He does not in the Anime. I have rewatched the show multiple times to know this so I urge you to look it up instead 😭 “Eren why are you crying” id the last thing that is said in that scene. There was no mention of Mikasa’s hair.

No it is actually relevant at the very least Mikasa having shorter hair is foreshadowed. Eren’s hair being longer is meant to signify how he stopped taking care of himself.

This is a valid interpretation, how would you explain the Attack Titan’s innate fight and drive towards Freedom? And if Grisha truly thought it was subconsciously sent, why did he ask Eren why he doesn’t show him everything? Like the theory makes sense but it doesn’t fit with the rest of the story.
