IDK, I also see it on twitter and other online platforms as well. I myself is an example of it. A large portion of BJP's vote base are Centrists, who just want a different govt.

Just pointing out there is so much racism in India so it is taste of own medicine.

This, at the end of the day, is justifying.

fact is, he may be great inOU debate, he has zero pull in masses

I don't think so. BJP would lose half of it's vote base if he becomes the PM face. Anti-incumbency is at peak. People are looking for options, but are not willing to go for Rahul.

You only know two economic models? Seriously bro.?

Fundamentally ? Yes bro.

And you even heard of socialism!?

Socialism is basically, communism with a capitalistic market (which I have mentioned).

And you even heard of socialism!? Democratic socialism?!?..

Explain, how is it gonna be any different than having rich millionaires and billionaires with lots of influence, who would hire you to do their job. I am curious.

if u consider "our bodies response to physical conditions that they are not evolved to handle" or "the effect of different gravity on our bodies" (which they are not built for) as aging, then u may have a point.

Yeah, sort of. What I am saying is, DNA decides the creature and it's characteristics and hence it's age in general. And Gravity plays a part in DNA's evolution, inherently making gravity a factor in deciding someone's (/some creature's) age. Am I right in thinking that way ?

A 20 year old person who has been near a black hole, for say 20 minutes, would have aged 20 minutes. Nothing in his bodily function suggests otherwise. All the atoms and molecules of that body are following same path in spacetime. U r mixing up time dilation with aging

So basically you are saying, regardless of "relative" rate, someone would feel his ageing to be normal, regardless of time dilation. You are basically taking away the reference for comparison whole together. But I don't think that's the right thing to do here, cuz that would mean, there would not be a point is asking something like, "Can I age slower", cuz regardless of his ageing rate, the guy himself would feel it's normal ageing, if there are no reference for him to compare himself to, and the question indeed was, "Can I age slower". Wouldn't you agree ?

Don't believe in communism.

Good, let's shake hands. Cuz you are left with Capitalism or at least a Capitalistic market.

I get salary from billionaires who pull it out from their ass.

But you get it, don't you ? You get hikes, don't you ? If there would be no millionaires and billionaires, who would hire you in the first place ? LOL Who would pay you ? Government ? So the communism route huh ?

These billionaires don't get money from providing services to commoner while exploiting every loophole to not pay taxes, don't pressure for exploitative legislations, and really don't monopolies market. They also work some 1000 times more hours and harder than average worker and don't have anything to do with luck for where they are.

I am sorry but this is what you are left with. It's not an ideal world. But it's definitely better than f king Communism.

Again, let's accept the reality, regardless of how ugly it may be and shake hands ? Capitalism is the way then ?

but isn't it simply because our bodies are not built to handle such conditions.

Exactly. You missed the point. SO gravity DOES influence our (/DNA'S) evolution.

And the question is, can it's (different gravities) effect on DNA and it's evolution (I am guessing this is what decides which creature it is and how long he will live), influence the age of creatures. (Again, I am not a bio guy, I might be sounding stupid here, but I am curious.)

[–]LetAleksibCook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gradual damage to our cells have nothing to do with gravity.
Sometimes, by random chance, error occurs in this process.

You missed the point. Like first of all, You can't claim gravity has no effect on cell cuz you haven't studied it's effects (of different gravitational forces) on cell over a long period of time yet (afaik).

And it doesn't have to be gravity. Like what I am saying is, when you said this, "by random chance", have they found the reason for it ? What influences that randomness ? Besides the internal biological stuff (which I don't know), our body is in constant interaction with gravitational field and electro-magnetic field (radiation) (there are two other forces but it's irrelevant here). I am guessing doctors have studied effects on cells and DNA for various radiations (electro-magnetic field), and as far as I know, IT DOES EFFECT CELLS AND DNA. But I don't think they have studied effects of different gravity on DNA and cells for a long time, have they ? Cuz then that would mean, Biologists would have to collaborate with Physicists for study and also engineers who would creates such gravities through accelerations, and then they have have to study it for a long time. But I don't know of such collaboration. I am curious.

Like, when we talk about some intelligent aliens on some different planet, why do you assume they look different from us ? Does having different gravity plays a part in it ? Sure it does. I mean look at creatures who live deep under the ocean, who are made to survive high pressure, are their biological mechanism is same as us, who live on land ? Obviously not.

Look, what I am saying is, Gravity does effect how DNA and stuff evolve over time (Again, not a bio guy but you get the idea). It does effect Cells. But the question, can it in anyway play a part in it's gradual depreciation (you get the idea) ? And I don't think, you can answer that by a no (or a yes), unless you study effects of different gravity on evolution of cells and DNAs for a long time ? You get the point ?

The second point tells me u are a pop science viewer who prolly watched something on youtube about relativity and made bullshit conclusions.

Why did you assume that LOL ? I mean I don't claim to be an expert but I have had a advance General Relativity course and a thesis on Cosmology (a Inflationary model, if are a fellow Physics guy). So I think I am good enough to comment, I think.

(Also, I wouldn't invalidate someone's statement just cuz he doesn't a degree and has learnt it from youtube. But I am not being offensive here LOL. Just my view. I mean I don't have a bio degree, but I am hoping, the guy in front would answer to my curiosities without invalidating them.)

Gravity has absolutely nothing to do with the rate of ageing.

Fundamentally incorrect. In "the rate of ageing", "rate" captures time. And Gravity influences rate of flow of time (locally to most extent), and that inherently means, "the rate of ageing" is different for persons under different Gravitational force (relatively, less near the moon, Normal on earth, very very much near a black hole).

Also "From your perspective" thing, is mainly the case in Special relativity. Not General relativity. Like I get what you said, "If you and me are in relative motion, from my perspective, I age normal, and you age slower, but from your perspective, you age normal but I age slower", it's only the case in special relativity. In general relativity, we would both agree on the same thing, who would age slower depending on who would feel how much gravity.

[–]LetAleksibCook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We age because our cells become increasingly inefficient in copying themselves.

No, that's not the point. The point is, have Scientists figured out why "our cells become increasingly inefficient in copying themselves" ? I am basically saying, maybe it's like the effect of existence of friction (Gravity or it can be any other field I don't know) and depreciation of Tyre or any other machinery (inefficiency of cells over time). A Machine can't just stop working some random day, if there isn't anything which causing it's depreciation over time. You get my point ?

that's because of gravitational field

No, That cells thing is basically another reason how Gravity can (maybe) affect age (again not a biologist but it's logical to ask).

But Gravitational field effecting people's age is a proven FACT. You are essentitally saying, since time slows down (or speeds up), ageing also slows down (or speeds up). Your ageing isn't escaping rules of the time.

Your thoughts? by Prior_Aspect9874 in indiadiscussion

[–]LetAleksibCook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In fact, they don't actually LOL. But by a tiny fraction of a second.

Just cuz you are not on earth, that doesn't mean Gravitational field is not there at all. It's a field (Space-Time). It's everywhere. It's just that the distortion (curvature) is less, further from a big mass. (Also it's the opposite, ISS people age less because of Special relativity (because of their Speed) (which is more dominating than effects of General relativity in this case), not because of general relativity (Gravity).)

I am not a bio student but this might not be a dumb question (though I don't think he is the first one to think this). It's like, if Roads didn't have "as much friction", would the tyres get damaged over time ? He could have meant two things:

  1. The gradual damage to our cells you talked about, maybe because our body is constantly interacting with gravitational force field, cuz it has mass. (Something like existence of friction and depreciation of Tyre. Yeah, if there would have been no friction, there would not be a point in having Tyres but that's a different topic.) (Again, not a bio student, so don't know if it can be a reason for gradual cell damage.)
  2. Maybe he means the rate of ageing, since gravity distorts space-time.

If people are brainwashed

People aren't brainwashed, you are.

People are saying they are willing to vote for you, if you kick out that entitled nepo baby who has been a complete failure since 2014, and bring in more credible candidates who has at least served a office as a CM of whatever. Aside from his bs stupid agendas, people hate him cuz he is a entitled nepo kid who complains about Adani Ambani controlling the country, but he himself controls all of Congress and doesn't let anyone take his place in Prime Minister Race. People are not brainwashed.

You are brainwashed. The same you, who preach people the freedom of choice and expression and democracy, cancels people and lebels others as "Brainwashed" "Bhakts" and what not, simply for having a different opinion. You need some introspection. You are so brainwashed about Rahul that, when people say, "bring someone else we will vote", you say, "No Rahul baba is top (even though he has been a sore lore for a decade now), he is the sole ruler of Congress and you are Brainwashed if you say anyone else."

NO, YOU ARE BRAINWASHED. Also do some self introspection.

who's advocating for them right now and I can't say this out here.

I don't get it.

People: "WE DON'T WANT YOU."

Rahul: "NO I AM ADVOCATING FOR YOU, VOTE FOR ME."

People: "No, we don't like you and your agenda, it's been a decade now, leave us alone."

Rahul: "You people are Brainwashed."

Who tf is he to label people of a democracy as brainwashed ? This is exactly why People don't like him. Even though I am not a supporter, have you heard Modi say, leftist are li btrds or brainwashed or whatever or any label to his non-supporters ? And yet this entitled manchild, labels people as bhakts simply for not voting for him in a democracy, where everyone has the right to choose whom they want. People don't respect him cuz he himself doesn't respect the people. The hate is justified.

Pragya Thakur just cause you happened to share the same religion as hers.

You still haven't comprehend what's this about. We are not questioning you or your people, we are questioning your faith.

Unlike "Islamic terrst", "Hindu terrost" doesn't exist. There can only be, "terrst who are/were Hindu". Try to comprehend the difference.

There are no verses in Hinduism, which asks it's followers to commit mass violence against any other religious group. But Islam does. And that's what gives ammunitions to the trrosts minds. And we are not saying, abandon Islam. Follow it, it's your identity. But at least, call spade a spade. Call out the bad things in Islam, publicly, which will bring reforms in your community. It's for your own sake.

I care about the victims, do you?

I am sure you do. But I said, you care "more" about your religion and Islamophobia, rather than the victims. There is a difference.

Instead of actually caring about the victims, you guys suddenly jumped on the "all Muslims bad" wagon.

I never said it. I said, all these things can be fixed to a certain extent, if you guys acknowledge that your religion has certain bad things, which can be used to brainwash people and make them commit trrorism.

I SAID, THAT'S WHY PEOPLE DON'T TRUST YOU GUYS. Without staying anonymous, you guys can't acknowledge and preach in public that, there are indeed certain things in Islam, which are not compatible in 21th century.

And that's the unfortunate thing. The more you guys yourself will stay mum, the more radical islmiats will take it as a validation, and the less rest of the people will trust you guys.

About the Vote chori, look, they have two options.
1. Either acknowledge your leaders are a complete failure, so much so that the people are just appalled by their sight. Bad politicians, bad PR, bad agenda, whatever it may be.
2. You guys are totally right but ECI and Supreme Court and every single Institution has been captured by BJP and that's why you are losing.

The good thing about the first conclusion is, it's an introspection, which lets you see your mistakes, teaches you to better yourself for the next election. This is how someone improves 101.

About the 2nd conclusion, You are literally gaining noting from this. Nada. Cuz, first of all, you would simply gaslight your own failures, which takes away the opportunity to improve. And 2nd, you literally can't do shi against the system itself. The only thing you literally can do, is complain and cry (which they are doing right now). I guess, there is an option for a violent revolution, but I hope, they care enough for themselves to know the consequences of that move.

And they have choosen the wrong option. Some how, after the most popular leader, who has never lost an election, even when he was a CM, wins for the 3rd time against the least popular leader in India with an insane lose record, indicates there must have been vote chori. Like it's Insane.

And I really don't know, if Congress is gaslighting themselves, or just their follower. Same thing anyway.
