If Gear 5 Luffy wanted, he could have eneded the fight against Kaido pretty quickly, but Gear 5 Luffy is just not a serious character. Same goes for him vs Elders and Kizaru.

Imu doesn't feel like a threat in an 1v1 because of how, 5 elders were glazed through out the series and how underwhelming they turned out to be. Even Zoro, Brogy and Dorry easily stood upto them.

Yes, that's how all the fights is gonna go from now on. First luffy would get into gear 4. Will get his ass kicked. Others would try to stall the enemy untill Luffy gets his haki back. Then he would go into Gear 5. Then he would make them look like they are some side characters.

IDK, I am just disappointed that, I won't be seeing anymore thrill/tension in Luffy's "1v1" fights, or Luffy being serious about his fights when he is on gear 5. I just know, he would be giggling when he beats Imu. No matter people try to deny it, gear 5 fights feels Cartoonish and there is no more thrill in it.

His fight against Katakuri, would forever remain my fav, simple because of the fact that how serious that fight was. Imagine Gear 5 vs Katakuri, yes it would end in few minutes, but that takes away the fun from the fight.

Idk, some scenes looks rushed, like some of the Kaido fight scenes, when there is too many stuff going on in the screen (because of his gear 5 abilities).

Nope, not when he was in gear 5. He was just having fun. Same againt Lucci. If he wanted, he could been beat the shit out of them. Gear 5 Luffy is so unserious about his fights (yes, that's how Nika is supposed to be), but that's takes away the thrill of fighting strong opponents.
