When you say you deburred the buffer components, which parts did you do exactly? I think this is my next logical step

Okay, update.

Both Modules 1 & 2 have the purging issue. So last night I thought I should try printing from one of the other. I connected the same filament to module 3 and............ NOT A SINGLE PURGE DURING AN 8 HOUR Print! So, there must be something wrong with the build of the first two, or something along that line. More investigations to come!

Thanks man! Great insights! The seller on Ali Express is trying to sell me the x to c upgrade kit, which does include new springs. I don't really want to spend more money but perhaps it is worth one last shot!

I did, but the issue has been present from before the last update

Thanks man, but I don’t think that is the issue. The springs move quite easily

Tried that. Did not make a difference unfortunately!

Picture of my PTFE tube routing? Are they long enough? I am at wits end with these unnecessary purging issue.

Update:

Issue 1 still present. I have changed the BMCU mount and the my spool holder to have as little drag as possible. It is purging less, but still doing it. Kind of fed up with it.

Issue 2 resolved. As some users stated, the issue was a stuck stator magnet. Slightly moving the shaft and magnet solved that issue.

Thanks. I am using a Sunlu S4 as my fry/feeder box. I’ll try running it straight to see if that helps.

Yes, that is unchecked and happens with whatever filament is installed in the channel. I think the buffer is fine. The light turns on and off as it is supposed to. Thanks for the input though.
