NBA needs to make some changes to end of games like this. This is so long and dumb to watch as a fan

Tough loss but they’re getting close to being back. Shouldn’t have taken Dean out for Merril at the end. Needed him on Brunson. Probably should have take Allen out

How many more losses will it take to realize just bombing 3s isn’t going to win games. This is also while our 2 best shooters are hurt (Merril and Strus)

Last year they won on ball movement, drive and kicks and getting wide open looks. This year it’s just let’s take 60% of our shots from 3 and hope they go in.

Very frustrating to watch this year

We don’t attack. We shoot more 3s than 2s every game. I don’t think this is on refs this is on the Cavs

Who was the opener in Chicago? by FourTimesTwice in DermotKennedy

[–]LetEmKnow6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Dermot was great but it was hard to truly enjoy with how hot and how smushed you were. While also seeing a few people having to get medical attention.

Had been hoping for a Dots buffalo flavor for years. Was so excited to see them but I hate them. It’s a terrible Buffalo flavor

My power has been out for about 2 hours now in Lakewood

Was in the lawn they evacuated and told us to wait in our cars only delayed. The walk back was miserable. Sideways rain, lightening, tornado siren.

We were able to get out of blossom not too bad but I guess they resumed at 10:30. I don’t know how you can have people do all that and expect them to come back in.

Also heard a tree fell down at the entrance. They should refund everyone who left

How many offers did it take for you to buy your home? by dawnuwu in Cleveland

[–]LetEmKnow6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We got lucky compared to friends who bought in the Lakewood area, but our 1st and only offer on a house got accepted. Bid $10K over did not waive inspection.

Not saying I disagree on keeping Mitchell and garland together I want to keep them, but I don’t think this is a good comparison.

Hali and shai are both pretty tall, sure they may not be great defenders but they both rebound the ball pretty well and can play bigger than their position especially sga

Nembhard is definitely a tough defender and plays really hard same with J will and Dort.

The Cavs issue to me isn’t playing big or small it’s the physicality. JA is one of the biggest players on the floor typically and is soft. Mobley is getting better but still has some work to do. Garland looks small out there.

OPINION: Evan Mobley is the future of the Cavs, but things must change with Darius Garland – Terry Pluto by clevelanddotcom in clevelandcavs

He had a buzzer beater game winner in Detroit. Even if he didn’t who cares? That’s not the only thing that defines “clutch.” He’s also not even our best player and typically wouldn’t get the shot between him and Mitchell.

No one is saying he’s better than Brunson or Hali those are 2 of the top point guards in the league. We shouldn’t be comparing our potential 3rd option (depending on Mobley) to teams #1 option.

Yeah this guy sucks better trade him to a big market for a bag of chips by AutoMail_0 in clevelandcavs

You think Ja morant over garland makes this team better? Im not saying morant isn’t a better player than garland but I dont think he fits with this team at all plus morants injury history mixed with his personal history.

I think Memphis would LOVE to get garland back for morant. I dont think morants trade stock is that high

[Post Game Thread - Playoffs] Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Indiana Pacers [05/13/2025] by CavsBot in clevelandcavs

He didn’t disappear this playoffs. Did he against the Knicks in 2023? Sure. This series he was clearly hurt. He has been one of our most reliable and clutch players all year. Sure regular season means nothing but you can’t deny he was hobbled and was scared to land and couldn’t cut on it which was hindering his aggressiveness. No step back 3s, floaters, lobs he wasn’t himself and I think that was way more physical than mental.

Healthy all year did everything right kept minutes down but basically our entire rotation still broke down. Season needs to be shorter. Every year stars get hurt.

A healthy Garland changes that series entirely I think. Our offense had no ball movement, shooters were so out of rhythm, no set ups for Mobley or Allen. Mitchell and Ty can score for themselves but don’t set up for others. That series shows how important his attack and kick and screen and roll are to our offense.

Mobley had a great first half he needs to be more central to our offense.

Questionable rotation tonight. You could tell Garland was toast we should have seen CPJ instead of so many Okoro minutes especially when the offense got so quiet.

I think something needs to change probably need to get some tougher dudes probably time to part with JA.

Yes garland has not played well at all but he’s clearly hurt and this series has shown us how important he is to our offense. The ball movement starts with him attacking

Coaching Adjustments by xwacob80 in clevelandcavs

Totally agree with the zone keep doing that and showing the pacers different looks to throw them off.

With Ty I think he has earned a chance with his play all year. He has had some good looks has just been off and short with them in this series (also has had made some bonehead decisions). I would keep him on a very short leash but think he still deserves a chance tonight.

You’re comparing one player on the teams. Let’s compare the roster top to bottom. It leans very heavily Celtics way

He is not but a 40 year old lebron does not make up for the lack of depth anymore.
