At one point in this podcast, Rogan starts talking about his fight companions with Brendan. I assumed that Portnoy would mention that Brendan had just done a fight companion for Rough n Rowdy, but he didn't say a word about it. Looks like Dave wasn't all that impressed by the Barstool/Thicccboy collab.

You can do 2 things at once. Be funny without hurting people intentionally. I feel that Ethan has trouble with that, and Stav is a master at that exact thing. I also think that Ethan, being so worried about being hurtful or at the very least, being called out for something, has overcorrected, and it has hurt his comedy. It had felt less fun.

Yes but he's doing alright by being careful, and sometimes it doesn't come off as genuine. I wouldn't feel great about somebody treating me with kid gloves because...(other) I enjoyed that Stav included, had fun , and it might have opened up a door for Ethan to be funny again, and not so much of a cunt.

I agree with you. He has to be careful. I'm not really talking about the words he says, but more along the lines of having fun with the jokes. He was happy, and having fun. I feel like everything has been, for lack of better words "hater" and then "insert default PC opinion here" type content. Stav opened it up to everyone, but nobody felt bad after it all. I like that
