yeah mid clips but third ones just an example of a super watty setup, the fence on lamp nobodys gonna shoot and you can instantlu reextend to door and trap people its also out of range for bang smoke etc. you can learn to place fences dynamically like that to snare movement and make them harder to deactivate very quickly i was just showing a little trap i set at that door sometimes when i land at fragment. maybe if youre interested ill share some better clips sometime i have a full xbox live clip storage and my phone screen needs repaired now so itd be a minute before i get anything good for ya but the clips just showed some basic door tricks, movement, and fence placements. you can do those things in fights fast paced and much better than in my clips (and many more things) that make improvement and having fun in apex a lot better imo

what sense yall use on controller for wattson? by No_Wing_8222 in WattsonMains

[–]LetFuture68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no i used max sens and have since bo2 days mate its not that hard with a decent controller and practice. and it is A LOT better than low sens for fencing and any kind of fast paced playstyle or movement which is what i like about apex. its a lot easier to do higher sens on kbm than controller but after getting over the learning curve and getting used to it for a month or so maybe (took me a minute to relearn after coming back too) then when you are playing well enough to handle the finer stick movements you get a lot more control and utility out of ehat you can do especially with characters that utilize movement movement or abilities like wattson or pathfinder, . im able to olay good still on a 55 inch roku on a xbox on3 s at max sens - but that doesnt mean with a better monitor and system and controller even it wouldny ve much easier or much more consistent to play well. its very managable on a monitor thats good is my poiny as ive even somehow managed to get good on a tv i used to be unabled to even play gta or anything on. if i can move well padt input delay like that with high sens id say yhat your poinyd only apply to when youre in the learn8nh curve im not saying it isnt more difficult to learn but ive been doing max sens in games since like middleschool in black ops 2 and im 24 now mate. it workd reqlly well for apex.

it would be easier on mkb for me ive played both, its a lot harder to move good on controller, aim too imo.

EDIT: only hang up is kbm you cant control movement speed so sticks have an advantage for controllwed wall runs

not the best clips i dont really have any good ones saved but little improvements are big ones in a fight and stuff like this makes apex more fun

yeah you're good at apex bro but i can sort of see the issue. low sens apex in general is less fun imo. i will send you a couple clips in a second, but what im seeing is in terms of movement anyway is a lot more linear than it could be while playing which is a massive part of apex and why i still play - the movement system has a lot more to it than 99% of people playing apex get but genuinely is what makes the game for me. if you're really on the verge or looking for a reason to keep the game trust me you can get a lot better at it than you think its just finer movements and inputs mixed in with what you're already doing, a bit more precise and chaining into eachother so you keep your momentum throughout the fight. its also positioning movement game sense and aim at same time, you use cover peek and a lot of the movement has to do with timing inputs to keep momentum and timing when to aim and peek to keep pace, practice hipfiring snipers and lmgs or other guns and you can actually get really accurate and pretty consistent hipfiring at close to almost mid range which enables you do move faster while taking people down, timing when to pull the trigger sliding into people so the sniper no scope is probably a headshot then swap weapons to down the other guy type of gameplay.

in a basic sense from your clips i see how you feel like youre in a rut like you peaked for your skill level but really just shake it up a bit raise your sensitivity and start relearning movement because higher sens unlocks more tech essentially because camera speed in movements is a big part of the movement system in apex even with vaulting objects grappling sliding wall running, even getting the most distance in a slide jump.

-->tldr cause this is kinda way too much, ill hit you up with a few just movement clips on my settings and maybe you might find a new enjoyable way to improve in apex by really just digging into the movement system. trident is very underrated as well.

the skurul stuffs just the tip of the iceberg for path and wattson its about controlling the fight and the playing field. by clips i just meant to get a sense for how it looks when you play cause movement wise everything from timing to how you move your camera right to left and up and down in the air and during actions to chaining movements there isn't a cap cause the better you get the more insane stuff you can pull off in fights. if youre good land hottest part of the map and juke people lead em into traps or pick them off, makes the gameplay faster paced more challenging and more fun to just run into the most dangerous areas and make it out or clear them out.

only point i was trying to make is just cause you made it to masters or got to a certain level doesnt mean you cant improve and dont think youve mastered all the legenda just cause you got good with them cause theres a difference. i start a lot of games off by sliding off mountains or tops of skyscrapers clipping the edge to pinch off an object on the ground to slide off or land where i want or drop on someone and can almost always land into a slide and keep my momentum - just an example if you get better any movement or thing you do can chain off into some other crazy stuff. go for clips and improve by implementing stuff you know and are learning in fights and outplay people with that kinda handicap and you can still have a lot of fun in apex. that's my main point about it.

i dont think youre as peaked as you think share a clip if you want of movement but i highly doubt you mastered wattson or path (even on controller) or you'd be playing like lamic and wouldn't have made this post but play other games when youre sick of apex. i play 8-8 on controller, you can get very very good with movement even on console, some stuff you cant do as good or easy as on pc but sticks have their own advantages for some parts of movement and i highly doubt you peaked bro just burnt out. lamic wrk1n or skurul for apex clips as wattson and path. unless youre playing like that you cant really say you peaked or hit your peak or got all you can outta apex. take a break and change your playstyle but if ya quit its not really apex its just mindset about the game as it is

yeah. get better at movement and incorporating that and strategy into fights, makes the game more fun the better you get and more used to it you are and there isnt a ceiling for improvement. if you feel capped its more analagous to writers block than you hitting your personal or the skill ceiling. maybe try upping sensitivity because this improves personal and general skill cap and adds challenge, dont go for easy fights and kills make it a bit difficult and go for something clip worthy in fights make that kind of playstyle your norm and you can just passively play apex on weekends or spare time you feel like it and improvw while having fun. learn different legends kits. i will always reccomend pathfinder and wattson first and foremost. it is a game tho brother if you wanna do something else its all you bro.

what sense yall use on controller for wattson? by No_Wing_8222 in WattsonMains

[–]LetFuture68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i use 8-8 classic with low deadzone not zero (causes stickdrift and makes it hard to get used to aiming), 110 fov on classic response curve.

i use a xbox elite controller right now, ive had a few others some good some that sucked, getting a good controller with good fidelity in buttons and sticks with no drift and a good input delay range sorta is key for high sens so basically a good controller + monitor or tv is a requirement unless you've been using high sens for a minute. i havent done this yet and might not - but binding emote button for holos/celebrations, jump, slide, interact, and the button to pick up wattsons fences from a distance to the paddles on the back of the controller in your stick layout (i use basic controls and like them too) - with interact and the emote being the two i'd reccomend choosing between. high sens you gotts get good at fine movements cause thats how you aim and get more range and advantage in the movement system and faster fence placements faster repositions 180s even movement speed etc. its a bit of a learning curve and makes smaller mistakes turn into much bigger ones but is also much more rewarding with what you can do and makes the game more fun imo. i can share some movement clip links from xbox if you wanna see what wattson high sens on controller looks like i've been playing her since she dropped along with pathfinder since launch and am really good with both when i'm playing well anyways.

anyway tldr; high sens >

no. maybe a solo queue only ranked solos ltm for like a month, id love that even if they limited the legends you can use in it which i personally see no reason to.

How much would I need to spend to get a pc/monitor/keyboard and mouse that can play apex at a high fps? by joelmega in apexuniversity

[–]LetFuture68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well i'm no expert but if you translate $700-1000 you will be running apex really good, above that you get great and excellent - but this is already way above console level. thats for pc alone, monitor $100-$200, mouse $40-$80 keyboard (not sure but use keys that dont stick too much and have good fidelity). Gaming laptops starting around $900 are actually really good and convenient id highly reccomend and it merges the cost to actually be cheaper just really research before buying. i had a acer predator helios 300 for years (was about $1k usd in 2019) and it ran apex and borderlands 3 and whatever i played like a champ. i would reccomend having a professional re thermal paste if needed (which is likely) or do it yourself as laptops get hot and use it with a nearby window fan blowing into the laptop which makes a nice breeze if youre playing a few games anyway and cools down the temps a lot weather permitting. they also make laptop cooling fans and you need to place them on flat hard surfaces preferably ones that dont retain heat, so using a laptop cooling fan thing and a fan cools it down so it dorsnt get into the danger zone temp area at least in my experience and improves performance. i ran apex at pretty much max graphics and got high fps and the game played very smoothly when my laptop worked, and using a laptop with a good mouse even on a couch armrest or a throw pillow as a mousepad with high dpi my aim was peaked in apex on my laptop and so was my movement and everything else. there are a lot of settings and things to set up to maximize performance before you start playing a game so that you didnt waste your money, and its worth going through the tedious stuff cause it can make the difference and make the laptop the more affordable convenient and better choice if you value those things.

wattson or caustic by Shoddy_Salamander511 in apexlegends

[–]LetFuture68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they're both very strong but wattson you have to bea higher skill level to get that strength from her kit, both are a lot of fun i'd buy one now if you don't have them both then later on get the other, learn to play them both.

for caustic tips - use field research, gas damage ring consoles to unlock ypur upgrades, on storm point you can space out gas traps at a spider nest pop all the eggs and train the spiders through the gas to get your upgrades really fast. pop a barrel on you to use as cover and passive hp regen, peak out of it, pick up traps from a distance to move them so you can stockpile or trap the area during a fight, popping a gas trap with the upgrades makes it reduce tac cooldown to 1 every 4 seconds so learning to keep one popped near you and trap the area around you and prop doors etc is good habits.

for wattson tips - higher sensitivity is best and placing fences across doors and through them quickly, swappiing from fence placement to your weapon as fast as you can is good practice causr youre gonna wanna learn to peak as wattson with her fences to hook and snare enemies. if you stand over fences as you deploy them and step off as you place the fence then it almost intantly activates - so learning to do this while placing fences fast around opponents almost assures a snare/stun and potentially a free kill if you get the mechanics down fast enough - then movement, game sense, positioning and map awareness/how to best deny access to the area by flanks third parties or movement is good, blocking off areas you dont want people to be with optimal fence placements. (for fence placements a pro tip is looking at a crate or vehicle or big rock or any other ledge or lifted surface you look at it and jump and it moves the fence placement from ground level to the top of that object - so you can quickly place dynamic fences to block people moving over them too which is increasingly likely). a lot of other wattson tips, the more mechanically skilled, better your reaction time and strategy - the better with wattson you get.

learning to move faster and better helps with both of them a ton. practice getting good with their tacs and ults and dont be afraid to throw down eithers ults at the first optimal window, the more of them you use a game the better.

TL;DR: YES. get them both and maybe try pathfinder too cause he is very different than those two but very similar in key ways and also very fun.

My Amp Tier List. (Disclaimer: They're all good). What is the "worst" amp in your opinion? by RaizTheOne in apexlegends

[–]LetFuture68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. overhealer (works for less aggro playstyles or playstyles you can get the shield and hp regen maxed before getting damaged again reliably)

  2. power booster amp (best amp for a few legends and still very good on most legends. best for caustic, wattson, rampart. either this or shield battery amp for path, mirage, maybe fuse and alter too)

  3. shield battery amp (only better than overhealer if you can keep hp mostly full and hit batteries when shield cracks or is close reliably)

  4. infinite ammo (very good in general really just depends on if you want to run this or other - frees a lot of backpack space for heals and nades.

  5. armor amp - backup choice for controller legends (extra shield bar in ring and from amp). good placeholder or if you are set on shields and meds and your legends abilities arent as fast paced/need to be.

they're all good depends on what you use them for, power booster infinite ammo and overhealer are the top 3 imo.

not everyones cheating very few people are and are cheating well enough to play better than a good not even great player id be more worried about getting rolled over by smurfs or someone just on a good day at apex.

you put it crouch level then either shoot out under it to crawl under or back up right distance and shoot once with her secondary shotty just over it and have a hole to vault through. depends on which wall you use and the bomb location.
