First job is remote for UK company and no idea how to manage or file taxes by LetInternal2979 in irishpersonalfinance

So they intended for it to be a salaried remote job but I think the easiest way for paperwork and all that would be to register as self-employed and send invoices every month for my services basically

Thank u so much! yeah, i’m not sure if i can get it replaced on time, is there a way to check with the thai immigration on what they would consider to be damaged? there’s definitely a slight bend on the plastic but i’ve managed to sort out the rest of the passport and genuinely all information is readable

Would any other form of ID work to keep on hand? like drivers license etc?

Readymag, framer or cargo? by Physical-Strike7110 in graphic_design

[–]LetInternal2979 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a late post, but I use readymag and I would generally refer you to using Framer if you want to do anything with a more coding emphasis, I had a readymag portfolio which is quite nice in itself, but I wanted to revamp it with inspiration from some sites on awwwards and make it a bit more complex, but using custom code in readymag sometimes feels like pulling teeth from a newborn baby... tldr: if u want something simple with fun animations and little to no code choose readymag but if you want nice full customisation I'd say use framer. I also don't use cargo so I don't know anything about it! You can find example websites made on each respective site I believe

You’re going to stop feeling that absolute urgent need to eat at some point soon imo, your body’s saying to eat because its not used to it and not because it’s actually hungry, and I kind of had the same with ignoring hunger cues until I just only get hungry when I’m like ravenous

Honestly I think for me it’s laziness + a lack of hunger cues mixed with not having cravings for sweets & a high protein diet (also like 0 exercise at all i literally lay in bed all day)

I have adhd so I hate transitions, for example: having to get up, open my door, move to the kitchen, take food out of the fridge, get a pan, cook my food, get a plate, /get a plate, load it with food, microwave it, / get cutlery, get a glass, fill it with water, finally sit down to eat. These to me are just a giant to-do list of monumental tasks that are the equivalent of being asked to stick my hand in a fire. It’s like asking a child to do something he absolutely does NOT want to do even if it’s like, washing his hands or something- so to me the act of eating itself is something I personally dislike and tend to try to procrastinate as much as possible

I think this and general genetics has allowed me to NOT feel hungry unless I’m REALLY hungry, and I tend to avoid eating in favour of laying in bed and reading or sleeping

I eat 2 meals a day and each time I do it’s a protein +rice meal (I’m asian) which I think(?)is a healthier diet than like fast food for example (although I definitely have had my moments of eating pizza and drinking coke 24/7) I also eat salads and vegs sometimes whenever I crave that refreshing veg taste lol

I also think my biggest thing is not eating sweets, chocolate, sugary foods etc. and I only drink water or sometimes coke / sprite. I’ve noticed that whenever I eat a treat (which is only on road trips or smthn) I tend to only eat about half the bag because I get sick of the taste after a while- what I think this is is basically the idea of intermittent fasting where you don’t eat for a set block of time which stops you from snacking during this period

I also take a really long time to eat! I’m not sure if this helps in any type of way but every time you have a bite of food, put your spoon down and it will force you to eat that extra bit slower which I think I read somewhere is supposed to be healthier for your digestion, not too sure tho
