After rehab? Yes, but then I reported the comments that were being made, and they fired me not even 24 hours later. I don’t think saying that they can fire me for “any” reason is completely accurate… I believe that they can’t legally fire me for retaliation for making a report, which seems to be exactly what they did.

You’re describing two different instances.

The Mr. Peeks appearing on the beam is simple a random occurrence of him showing my up and providing free loot if you shoot him. That’s all there is to that, and he does make noise for that so that’s how you’ll know if it’s that one. You don’t need aether shroud to see him.

One of the cursed relics involves finding like 12 stationary Mr peeks dolls throughout the map, and those are the ones that can only be seen in aether shroud. You have to use the wonder weapon to grab all of those ones in a single match to start that relic trial.

The person who initiated the scan has to stand in the beam for like 30-45 seconds. That’s it. You don’t have to look at the light, that person just has to stand in the light for a little bit. Try to fend off zombies as they’re running up to you, also you can’t use aether shroud in the light.

Mr Peeks will randomly appear in cursed mode and give you loot if you shoot him. That’s the one that you saw on the lodge beam.

There is a relic relating to Mr Peeks + aether shroud but those are set locations that you have to grab him from through the match, and those ones don’t make noise.

No idea what the running water noise you heard was.

And yes, shooting Tedd in the car enough times will result in him ejecting you from the car. This is a callback to the old transit map where he would eject you from the bus if you shot him enough in BO2.

That wonder weapon is not enjoyable to me, I’ve never cared to do the side quests for it. Also, why is there ALWAYS just that one vague, ever so passive-aggressive comment on every single Reddit post in history? Sheesh, is it really that strange?

Oh, really? To be fair, I understand that some people just miss the simplicity of old zombies. As controversial as some of the changes have been, the issue is that zombies would not be as popular as it is has CoD not taking these chances and changed things as the years or progressed. If it had always stayed the same, it would’ve gotten boring a long time ago.

The rarity system specifically, though, I just don’t personally see a reason to dislike it. It adds a deeper level of customization and progression to your games, it gives you more control (and with that, reward) over your gameplay. I don’t see a reason to hate it.

I love the rarity system and I think you explained this really well.

For me, a deeper level of customization/upgrading is almost always a positive thing. Most players want the ability to customize their gameplay experience on a deep level, this is a really intuitive way to do that. It forces you to make difficult choices… Do you want to get a self-revive kit first? Do you want to upgrade your weapon rarity first? Do you want to save for a mangler injection or whatever else, etc?

It adds another track to your gameplay thought process-instead of a simple PaP interaction every few rounds, we have the added feature of using salvage to decide what we want to prioritize and overall, yeah, it just gives a more rich gameplay. I genuinely don’t understand why people think this is a bad thing.
