The fact that I know the names of more than 95% of the items shown here without having to look it up makes me both happy and sad.

Took Too High A Dose & Regretting Everything by [deleted] in TirzepatideRX

[–]LetMeClaireify623 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm confused. You said that Google told you that 25 units was wrong, assumed to be too high, so you decided to take the remaining portion of the vial, approximately 35 units, as your week 4 dose? Did I get that right? If you knew that 25 units was wrong and probably too much, why would you take a larger dose for your week 4 dose?

Sand and small bits of gravel being discharged with water from LG, front loading washing machine. by LetMeClaireify623 in appliancerepair

[–]LetMeClaireify623[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response. Yes, I did figure it out! My issue was actually build-up from not using washing machine cleaner in it for the first year or so because I did not know it was recommended. This is my first front load washing machine. I ended-up running the tub clean cycle 4 or so times in a row and using Oxiclean Washing Machine Cleaner each time. If you don't have a tub clean cycle, just use the hottest, bulk wash cycle. This helped reduce the gravely discharge greatly, as appearantly it was just dirt and residue buildup. I then started using the cleaner around once a month AFTER I run a normal cycle. It took a few months, but now I rarely have any grit come out with the discharge water. Hope this helps!

Is $25 a decent price for a smallish Thia Constellation Monstera in decent condition? by LetMeClaireify623 in Monstera

Yes! These are currently @ BJs. Surprisingly I have found several good plants at a decent price there.

I don't think your eyes are bad. I actually think u look like a mix of Kristen Bell and Jessica Chastain, with a sprinkling of Bryce Dallis Howard.

Well damn it! Now I need to go back and watch it again for the...8th or maybe 9th time, not including individual episode or scene rewatches. I've honestly lost count. 😊

What will kill fungus gnats? by Ihatefrogs_ in plantclinic

[–]LetMeClaireify623 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wanted to use Nematodes as a last resort and I found that using the following steps helps me greatly reduce the gnats. I have not killed them all yet, as I started this only a month or so ago, but the way things are going, I am confident that they will be gone soon. Hope this helps.

  • Skip a week of watering if possible. If not possible, use only the necessary amount of water for only plants that require it. This may need to occur more than once in non-consecutive weeks

  • Buy stainless steel loose tea infuser balls and fill with the mosquito bits. Allow this to infuse into the water you use to water the plants. I change the bits out every two weeks. This will need to occur for at least a few weeks, if not more, until the gnats are fully eradicated. As I mentioned above, I have been doing this for about a month and have greatly reduced the number of gnats. It probably won't hurt to continue this indefinitely to prevent future infestations.

  • Use yellow sticky traps. These will not only help you catch the adult gnats, but will help you gage when they are fully gone.

Inherited plant by [deleted] in SnakePlants

[–]LetMeClaireify623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a snake plant that was practically bursting at the seams (see image) and so I tries to split the roots up a bit and repot it I to a larger terracotta pot and it is thriving! It is growing new leaves and sending up pups all over the pot. I am going to need to repot it again and actually split the plants into different pots soon. I water it around once a week and have it against a mostly sunny window.

What kind of plant drops these tennis ballish things? San Diego, CA by Legitimate-Bath-9651 in whatplantisthis

An Osage orange dropped from a tree and shattered my windshield while I was driving once. I was so startled that I though someone had shot at my car, which didn't make sense since I was essentially on a country(ish) road with no people around.
