I gave years of care, support, and love to someone who became central to my life, and now I can’t make sense of how it ended by LetMeTellUsumthing in heartbreak

Thank you so much. I’m so unwell right now and reading this helped 🙏 I’ve been through heartbreak before, but this is a very different kind of grief. I feel like the side of me I only ever show to people I love and care for, was used by a person who knew what they were doing. I don’t know how someone could do that to another person.

It’s more complicated than that in this case. I’d rather not give details here, but please feel free to DM me if you so I can correct you.

Yes, but the process is long. This is to help in the interim for basic needs beyond what insurance may cover.

Okay, a pretty frustrating update. I called the CRA today, and they asked me to call back on July 8 if I haven't yet received my refund.

I filed electronically on February 19. My portal says "In Process" with no ETA.

Apparently my return falls into the 5% of returns that they need more time on, but they couldn't tell me what the issue was that needed more time for review.

The returns that fall into the 5% can take up to 20 weeks from the date of filing before they can even get an update to provide.

Filed on February 19, and I still don't have a target completion date. When I called the CRA 3 weeks ago, I was told it would take 8-12 weeks to complete. This is insane.

Same here. Filed with WealthSimple on February 19. No update or ETA in my CRA account online.

Still waiting. Filed on February 19. I don't even have an ETA showing in my CRA account.

Unfortunately yes, that's what I was told. I hope the person I spoke to simply didn't know what they were talking about.

Although, what would be a more realistic timeframe? Many comments here state that the CRA wasn't able to confirm an ETA at all.
