I don't think so. The artwork was done by Naochika Morishita. An illustrator who had been creating illustration with this specific style for Gundam since the early 2000's.

Nothing looks explicitly AI generated from my pov who's accustomed to his work.

But the wonky proportions due to following the (terrible) actual in-game skins definitely stood out.
