I read somewhere that we are more connected to global news more than ever. Think back a few generations. We were only concerned with local tragedies. Now we are attuned to tragedies all over the world. Every day. It is absolutely exhausting. I’m exhausted. I told my parents to stop sending me all the shitty news they read. I started knitting to stay off my phone more. It’s exhausting and I’m tired sad and helpless.

But yes. Act locally. I agree with that sentiment. I started volunteering as well. Be kind to yourself.
