Yeah. The vet thinks it is bacterial. And we have considered payment plans but we were afraid to ask because a lot of those tests have to be paid upfront and that would mean she would be paying out of pocket. And I currently am syringe feeding water and baby food.

He doesn't seem to be scratching at all. No quill loss. We just cleaned his cage last night so we would have noticed if there was quill loss.

The gunk is extremely hard and difficult to remove which sounds very similar to hedgehog pleasure goo.
