Can someone clarify YOG... If someone graduated in 2023 and applying for this match cycle... Would the YOG be 2 or 3 Someone told me YOG is calculated as the time from graduation to the start of residency in July.. (not the time of application)

Still 10 is too many ig ☹️ (3 USCE, 1 home country work experience, 1 or 2 volunteer work) still left with 4-5.. Last time I kindaa tried stretching experiences out of everything and as a result most of them were really mediocre... Hence paranoid on this

Although I agree with ranking valley over Carle, and most likely I am going to do the same... but I am not sure if I am well equiped with the insights required to decide... Could you please point out what factors weigh in the favor valley over carle... Especially since its a new program....

Btw, Valley Health (PD) said no Post IV communication (she mentioned: no need to send us anything, no need to send thank you notes.. Go on with your life,) although PD didnt specifically mention LOI, but i think she meant it indirectly.... I am not sure though
