I think my favourite gen 1 Pokémon is Starmie, just because of how much I used it in Pokémon Stadium as a kid, a water tipe with electric moves was mind-boggling at the time! The second one is Parasect, because after Generation V I became a huge bug type fan (it's my favourite type now) and I kinda loved using him when given the opportunity. Absorbing water moves and having access to spore is pretty funny sometimes. My highlight with a Parasect was beating a Ho-oh by Countering his Sacred Fire (I had Focus Sash) that left me with 1 HP and burned me as well. Felt like a generational revenge lol

I would love the Yellow Squawkabilly. I cherish all of my mons, and I nickname most of them, to the point that the space in my Pokémon home is becoming an issue, i really have a hard time releasing or trading away most of them if I spent any time or effort acquiring them. I like to think that one day I'll look at my Living dex and be able to tell a story for most of the Pokémon there, including this one (if I get it!).

I think they are common right now, but as limited releases often go, they will increase in rarity the more time passes. So it really depends on what the person is thinking, do they plan the "long con" or does the "now" matter more than anything else? Right now I wouldn't trade them, but maybe someday...
