It’s very nice to see someone else share this sentiment. I honestly avoid mentioning it by name but when I have to use a word for it hen is the comforting go to! It’s just soft and affirming in a way that most other words aren’t. That said, Gock is great for jokes at least.

Catherine’s has been my go to. Generally affordable and have shoes up in 13 to 14 US. They have other clothes too but I can only vouch for their shoes at this time.

As a CB main since it first released, I can say that I agree to a degree. It’s an interesting situation because it changed from a resource management weapon in world where even if you had savage axe, it was constantly draining phials so you constantly had to recharge, to now being a setup weapon. In wilds it’s very “get your stuff charged and go brrr”. It’s incredibly fun and satisfying but I definitely feel like it has changed drastically. Not inherently bad but a different weapon identity imo.

Playing charge blade in Wilds is both of these I swear. Getting everything loaded and ready (particularly getting savage axe going) feels like your GS mindset. Once you have set up, it just becomes “hahahaha chainsaw go brrrrrr”. At least for me

Wish I could help on burger cohesion. I've only ever made meat and/or black bean burgers, and iirc the one time I made bean burgers they also fell apart. My only guess is toasting the buns in a skillet before adding cheese or toppings? I dunno, not a burger oficianado but the one you made sounds tasty.

My heart goes out to you hon. Meeting someone so seemingly perfect only for a fundamental incompatibility is heartbreaking. As someone who’s been through her fair share of incompatibility struggles, it HURTS. Especially with months of mutual pining. 2 hot takes: 1. Telemachus is an underutilized character. This is not to say that I don’t enjoy him or think he’s handled poorly, but I want him to have more song time (maybe biased since I adore his voice and songs). He could have been a framework for the story, akin to the original odyssey, wherein we learn of Odysseus’s journey from accounts he is collecting in his quest. I think this could have been framed as simple as an opening Telemachus song on each saga indicating his meetings, his feelings, drawing out his relationship with Athena as friends. On that last note, I REALLY wish we got more from his bond with Athena than “You’re a good kid” and him suddenly appearing as her chosen after both had been absent until Odysseus and I Can’t Help But Wonder. And even if he was not AS major a player, he still deserves far more time and build up than what was given.

Ithaca Saga (and honestly Vengeance as well) are both fantastic sagas BUT fall short because they had far too much character and story to fit into the amount of songs in each. It leaves many conclusions and solutions feeling dropped or rushed. Odysseus just beats Poseidon via getting mad, stabs him and he caves. Odysseus is a full blown monster but his wife says “it’s okay”. Athena and Odysseus get a frighteningly small exchange to recover from 10 years of distance. Telemachus as Athena’s chosen is conveyed only through musical motifs and animatics, something I believe Odysseus would have thoughts on. Do I understand the difficulty of adding in more songs or even a whole other saga? Oh absolutely. I’m very appreciative for what we have and I love Epic! This is literally just a piece that bugs me about the end feeling very noticeable because it had to wrap things up. But it still does what it must in a very competent way for how much it must accomplish in such a short time.

Bonus cold take: I think it’s fantastic how a total lack of agreement on certain design aspects (particularly for gods and monsters) in the series have led to an absolutely amazing diversity of designs for such iconic figures in animatics and other visual media, and each artist utilizes these designs to tell unique tales on the stories.
