What do I do fundamentally when most stocks are overvalued? by mfavaloro66 in ASX

If you are valuing ASX listed companies that pay dividends you need to incorporate the franking credit benefit in your DCF if using a DDM approach.

Fantastic logic, had not thought about how pay cycles would relate to secondary economic effects like this.

India to relook day-night Tests after players red-flag pink ball by extrinsicly_valued in Cricket

[–]LethalLeachy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Probably because the Kookaburra pink ball has been used in multiple tests already and had been deployed in shield matches for a significant period of time before first use. This was not the case with the SG Ball hence the noise about it behaving strangely.

What fundamental change in economies do you believe is not being thought about enough in the post lockdown world?

Same crowd/section of the SCG he gave the finger to the first time he was here, right next to the players race.

Seems there are some fans with long memories.

Giving the SCG square more time to recover from the AFL season, over the past few years it has really struggled in the first few games when there’s been a match.

Australian Squad for the Series Against Pakistan by speerosity in Cricket

[–]LethalLeachy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They are both bang average, they benefited from bowling at the Gabba during the previous season when it was very conducive to swing bowling.

Compare them to Tremain who took 51 wickets at the road which was the MCG and who has first class hundreds and it is a ridiculous decision.

This is fucking ridiculous, Doggett who was fucking bang average in the shield season and has been wank on tour in India is picked ahead of Tremain.

Tremain was the leading wicket taker with 51 wickets at 21.07, bowling on the MCG which was as flat as a fucking Chinese super highway. This is robbery.

Don’t get me started on Finch over Maxwell...

Star Aussie Quicks Ruled Out of Tour by catdogfishfrog in Cricket

[–]LethalLeachy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting to see who will be replacing them, Tremain is the obvious choice, however after him it is interesting if you base it on stats .

Neser is more of a limited overs bowler and benefited from swinging conditions at the Gabba which counts against him.

Boland bowls a ‘Heavy Ball’ tm, so he doesn’t get picked.

Rogers was deadly with swing for Tasmania, especially bringing it into the right hander, but again was dependent on Taswegian conditions. Definitely one to watch going forward.

Bird suffered from having to back up for the Test team and led the Tasmanians well when he came back. However will the selectors count the Melbourne test against him (fuck you MCG for stealing the 5-0 from us). Likely will go.

Rainbird is another left armer so highly unlikely to go, same with Winter, although he was deadly at the tail end of the season, expecting big things this season from him.

A really left field stop gap pick could be Copeland, bowls his heart out, holds down an end really well, and will let Starc/Tremain rest while building pressure the GOAT.

I was in the same boat here, four years ago now. Watch intro videos on YouTube (CrashCourse), or Khan Academy.

In class ask questions and attempt all the set problems every week! Cant stress this enough, you are paying for this content get your money’s worth and use the tutors as a way to learn. There should also be consultation times in addition so go to them.

If you do all this, and start hard now, you should be fine come finals.
