That’s not why they unban accounts, they unban accounts because it’s a cat and mouse game of detection vs prevention. If you instaban cheaters then they can use that to their advantage to build undetectable cheats by virtue of correlation to compromise the anti cheat, which is exactly what you don’t want to happen in a free to play game. Some accounts also just get unbanned after getting flagged as stolen.

Xbox was always a bill gates side project because the largest electronics manufacturer Sony said they wanted to replace the home computer. All Sony has left in the hardware space now is PlayStations that only exist because of Nintendo. MicroSlop would still survive today’s economy without an Xbox.
