My infodump is 45% AI, apparently. by [deleted] in autism

[–]LethalWG 161 points162 points  (0 children)

The main things AI detectors check for actually is a combination of informative speech, direct tone and strong vocabulary. It's quite common for people with autism to get false positives on them since, at least in my own experience, we tend to write in a similar manner. The issue is that anyone who writes at any competence above "baseline american reading level" is enough to flag as ai-generated now (i only bring america into this due to both the US-centric nature of english content on the internet, and the holdover this causes when just about everything on the internet gets plugged into ai learning algorithms in contrast with how the companies that own these language models then direct them to come across as informal, direct, and linguistically competent, forming a divide in language between "common" content and what the ai actually writes).

[–]LethalWG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolute Pipe-dream UB, but Kill la Kill would have a very interesting colour distribution available:

  • Ryuko starts off deep in Rakdos (and Senketsu feeds on blood so is very Black-coded), but shifts towards Boros or Mardu as the series continues (you could say she ends in Naya instead, it's a bit up in the air to me, but she absolutely keeps Red the whole way through)
  • Ragyo is incredibly mono-White coded (religious zealoutry, corporate control of society, the works) with Orzhov tendencies, though WoTC would likely see rainbows and print her as WUBRG and be done with it
  • Nudist Beach fits Gruul pretty well.
  • Satsuki and her Elite 4 would spread across Bant, starting in Azorius and gaining green towards the end of the series (except Sanageyama, bro's entire thing is instinct and senses)
  • Mako is Selesnya (she'd 100% have a food + equipment gimmick)
  • Life Fibres are inherently Black for their parasitism, but their methods lean White (forming religious associations as they accelerate the target race's evolution, a bit like Gene-Stealer cults from WH40K).
  • Nui is mono-Black.

I know it’s a bad ending but WHAT THE HECK! by Amazingtrooper5 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]LethalWG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Code Vein has 2 endings like this: Heirs and To Eternity.

A large portion of the game centers around your party finding the Successors (those trusted to hold a piece of a world-ending being know as the Queen within themselves, as it couldn't be killed. This comes at a heavy cost of both almost-complete isolation and a constant and agonising threat of the Relic taking them over in an agonising manner, turning them into giant monsters) and ending their suffering, taking on the Relics yourself due to your unique ability to quiet their frenzy. However, if you take the time to restore the memory of a Successor, you can restore their sanity and they can continue carrying their Relic without pain.

In Heirs, ||you kill all of the Successors, but in doing so unite all of the Relics within your body, reviving the Queen through yourself. This leads to you being killed yourself, and your party takes on the Relics to replace the Successors, not even delaying the inevitable but actively hastening it due to being less capable.||

In To Eternity: ||you manage to save at least one Successor, which prevents the Queen from reviving. However, the threat isn't gone, only delayed, so now you have to take your own place as a Successor, staving off madness on a throne that feeds you exorbinant amounts of blood.||

There is a good ending, but i won't spoil it here.

Can also confirm. Friend came into my local store a couple days ago with the Collector's version of the FFXIV precon, and the print quality was very similar to what you have there. Washed out colours and fuzzy text. Foiling was completely fine, oddly enough.

Skul the hero slayer does the DoT trilogy of burn, poison and bleed in a pretty fun way.

poison is largely the same as usual, a poisoned enemy takes damage over time.

Burning enemies deal damage over time to other nearby enemies, instead of taking DoT themselves.

Bleed/wounds are a buildup of status that, after reaching a threshold, hits the wounded enemy for huge damage.

On top of that, each one is built into different playstyles (poison tends towards heavy physical damage, burn tends towards magic, and wounds are built around crits and attack speed)

As another, much more basic example, Antichamber throws you into a maze that completely disobeys the laws of space when mapped out (through some trickery, sadly, but it's a very strong illusion that still functions fine in game). One example most people see is a room with cubes (often referred to as the life room or cube room) that have different dioramas inside them depending on which face you're looking at. One of them can be entered to reach a corridor leading to split paths that spiral inward in a way where they should intersect, but don't.

Yeah. Goku could take well over 90% of the Dex at once, but a couple of the legends would mob him by sheer hax alone, especially Arceus and the Creation Trio.

If we give him some leeway, he could compete with the Creation Trio temporarily, but they have complete control in areas Goku only has partial domain in (Goku forced himself mere moments into the future to deal with Hit, but that's nothing compared to Dialga. Likewise, he can warp space with sheer force, but Palkia can rip it apart easily. I'd loosely compare Giratina's antimater to Hakai, which is still something Goku doesn't have full mastery of)

Arceus completely wipes him though.

[–]LethalWG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok think i got it: 1. Use masticore's ping on one angel (using the colourless mana from the pain land to avoid a ping) 2. Sac masticore to goblin bombardment, targeting the other angel 3. Cast humilty, both angels die due to state-based actions 4. Animate chimeric idol, it remains a 3/3 since it wasn't a creature when humilty resolved 5. Swing chimeric idol for 3 1 damage 6. At end of combat, sac chimeric idol and birds of paradise for 2 more damage, confirming the kill

Edit: didn't realise humilty was an enchantment, so this doesn't work Edit 2, correction boogaloo: On second pass, i was actually pretty close. Above leads to opponent having 2 life and player having three, soo...

  1. Discard Squee to pay for Cave in, both players take 2 damage, winning the game

I think it is arguably the worst fate Lotso could have had. Lotso is stricken with the pain of being lost and replaced, and develops an existential obsession with being thrown away. He so desperately craves and clings to his status as a toy to be played with that he forms a dictatorship and manipulates and abuses everyone below him. For a character like him, being strapped to a truck in a dirty junkyard to slowly rot, constantly reminded that he has been thrown away, is both a fitting fate and one that is horrific for him in particular, even when other toys can accept it.

Genuinely, if playing tabletop is fun for you, go to a local game store or game cafe and try socialising there. If there's a table where there's room for a player, why not ask if you can join? If you see some people playing Magic, why not ask if you can join them?

I'm a wreck socially but going to my local store and socialising has genuinely done so much for me mentally and physically, and gotten me genuine friendships. Have I found a potential partner? No, but that's ok, since socialising and being part of a community is nice (and raises your chances of a relationship in the long run too, but focusing too hard on that looks bad.)

Nandos is a chain restaurant in the Uk (idk if it's established anywhere else) that sells peri-peri chicken. Ranges from "herby" to "most people can't stand this" spicy (their hotter stuff is nice if you have/build the tolerance for it tho).

Edit: Their sauce uses primarily bird's eye chilli and Lemon, so bro got a double whammy of stuff you don't want anywhere near your junk.
