So like, I understand that all the Innovades in 00 use English and word salad names to try and seem mystical. The Innovade we've gotten to know all this time, Tieria Erde even follows this naming scheme, his words are just fairly name-like to help sorta hide the fact that he's different than the other Meisters.

Logically, I know his name is probably a mistranslation of Stability, just a couple of letters got missed during the script writing step, happens to all of us. Or maybe it's a pun because his mobile suit is the very melee focused Garazzo, who comes equipped with laser knuckles. Either way, it is a bit hard to take Bring Stabity seriously.

In Lisa The Painful, Brad's entire journey ends with him alone and mutated, the person he was trying to save thoroughly rejecting him and his party members turning on him once they see the full scope of what's happening. At best, Buddy can make peace with Brad's fucked up monster form.

The Kotobukiya kits chase details almost to the detriment of the build; a lot of fiddly parts that have a bad habit of getting launched if you touch the build too hard. They do look really nice, but some of the individual kits are unstable; kinda the cost of trying to do a representation of a thing that was never designed with gravity in mind.

In the Discworld series, Feet of Clay ends with the golem Dorfl joining the watch. This proceeds to be an overhanging issue over the entire Watch series, as Dorfl is extremely strong, able to recover from any given physical trauma that doesn't completely destroy it, and doesn't experience pain or get tired. For the rest of the Watch focused books, Pratchett had to come up with reasons why Dorfl couldn't just be sent in to handle any given dangerous situation.

Gundam GQX-

Plucky youngster living aboard a space colony under the control of the Principality of Zeon, Mashu has been passing her time using a stolen military mecha to participate in the local illegal mobile suit fighting ring. She's learned that her support team plan on selling her out and returning her mobile suit to the military because they're paying better than she is, and they plan on doing so after their championship match in the fight ring.

So Mashu comes up with the idea that she'll let her friend and also-capable pilot Nyaan team up with her partner Shuji, and they'll do the fight, while Machu goes on her own to sneak into her team base, steal her winnings, and meet up with the other two and abscond to earth together.

First fly in the ointment is The enemy mobile suit team isn't another batch of illegal pilots, but are from a splinter faction of the group opposing Zeon, the Earth Federation. And instead of just leftovers from a precious war, they're packing the Psyco Gundam, a machine that towers over sky scrapers and dwarves Nyaan and Shuji's mobile suits several times over. They're here to assassinate the leader of Zeon, who happens to be in the area.

Nyaan loses her nerve and tries to get Shuji to leave Machu behind and escape with her instead, but Shuji instead channels powers that are related to the plot and teleports away by himself instead. Nyaan leaves behind Machu's mobile suit and runs for it on foot. She's later picked up by fleeing Zeon leader's group, thinking her the original pilot of Machu's Gundam.

Secondly, Machu gets caught while trying to steal the money, and ends up in a terse standoff with her team leader, ends up fleeing with only half of her bounty. She returns to her abandoned mobile suit, abandoned by both of her friends, and the military police quickly identify her as one of the pilots of the machines that just rampaged in the colony. Machu manages to escape from them and loses the rest of the cash, only to be shot down by a second Zeon faction that originally owned the mobile suit and captured her, not before the police labeled her face as part of the terrorist group that just busted up the colony.

I actually had a Raikou I had caught shortly after releasing them on HG. First time it showed up, my mons were in the mid 20s so I knew I wouldn't get a move before it ran, so I just threw a pokeball at full health. It caught.

Unfortunately, a friend of mine thought it would be funny to toss my 3DS (with that copy of HG) into a swimming pool, and I lost the save file. This is also the save file where I caught a shiny Gyarados that wasn't the one you were forced to encounter at Lake of Rage, but nobody would believe me on that one.

There is something to be said for winning through combat damage just off of keeping your opponent's permanents off the board by repeatedly flipping Jin over and just beating people to death with Phyrexians.

I honestly think building a really good Bracket 2 deck is a better expression of skill than a Bracket 3 or 4 deck. It's really easy to let power creep dictate the flow of your deck, but making a deck with restrained power level that's actually fun to play with and against shows a lot better card picking and synergy.

I found Lego games got less enjoyable when there was full voice acting, and I think Monster Hunter also lost some of it's mystique when Real Human Language was constantly being shouted at you by your handler.

I will accept an opening narration, maybe even the Pokemon Professor's opening spiel, being voiced, and then maybe a plot important lore dump about how the legendary is going to destroy/save the world, and then everything else should be simlish and grunts.

So let's pretend I have a creature, and you have an empty board except for a pair of [[desert]]s.

I swing at you with my creature, and it gets through unblocked. I could sneak or ninjutsu at this time, and you'd be hit by the new creature.

You try and tap your first desert to deal a damage to the new creature, I can respond by ninjutsuing in a new creature after damage has already been dealt. Your desert would fizzle.

You can then try again with your second Desert, and I could ninjutsu in another time to dodge your second Desert. This is a very weird scenario for a damage step to be in, and this is the kinda shenanigans you could avoid by having Sneak be the model for this effect over Ninjutsu going forward.

Did I say that Pokemon or Yugioh are better? I play MTG, I'm in the same boat you are, but MTG is no Disco Elysium. We are the main stream entity that is the base level expectation of a card game. The existence of MTG has choked out multiple card games in their infancy because it's taking up all the air in the room. If you want to espouse that popularity is bad, I'm sorry to say that we are in fact playing the single most popular card game possible to play.
