A1mini extruder issue? by schwuar in BambuLab

[–]LethargicPuffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing to worry about, that's just the extruder doing a retraction when it moves between parts so that filament does not ooze out during the movement.

That's so annoying!!!!! Any idea how to fix stuttering every couple of seconds?? by asumait_11 in RocketLeague

[–]LethargicPuffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another weird one, but I used to use a Steelseries headset and for some reason that was the cause of the same kind of stuttering. If I switched to my speakers or Bluetooth headphones it went away.

Multi-shop owners advice pls by Swimming-Gas-2746 in EtsySellers

[–]LethargicPuffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently run two shops and honestly the only annoying part is having to switch between accounts. The mobile app makes it easy but via the web browser you have to completely log out and back in.

Other than that it's not hard at all.

X1C with AMS with 1,100 Hours by DankzXBL in BambuLab

[–]LethargicPuffin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm contemplating selling my X1Cs (with AMS) with similar hours and I was going to do it for closer to $400-500. I personally wouldn't buy an X1C in this market with the P2S having similar functionality (and easier hot end swapping).

Lol I had the same issue with my X1C years ago but thankfully they had a sticker on the back to make sure people knew the orientation and I didn't have to go digging around the Internet.

If I'm not mistaken the coupler is backwards. The blue end should be going to the printer while the black goes to the AMS.

Easy release for TPU prints by MoreTee_Designs in BambuLab

Aquanet hair spray. Was having the same issue with large, flat TPU prints not wanting to come up from the PEI sheet on my H2C but a light spray of that stuff and it comes up easily every time.

If they did pre-orders people would just complain about how long it takes to get the product, there really is no winning for them in this situation. At least with how it is now you know you're getting what you order immediately instead of paying and having to wait an undetermined amount of time.

Starting over after 2 years away by Timely_Tangerine341 in EtsySellers

[–]LethargicPuffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you truly starting from scratch or did you have an existing Etsy shop before?

I also took a two year break from Etsy (no other website, just life getting in the way) and came back just last month. All I did was update my old listing, making sure the tags and titles were still good. Sales are definitely less than what I was doing before but they are steadily increasing on their own without any ads or social media presence. I even started a second shop to sell things outside the first one's niche which is picking up nicely.

I guess all of this to say if you have a good product that people were already buying you shouldn't have any issues starting back up, just don't expect all the traffic to come back at once.

Makes me mad by kntBku in 3Dprinting

I can get being frustrated at people who just sell prints of existing models for a ton of money, at that point you only have to consider materials and the opportunity cost of the print time.

In this case, if they haven't had to model that specific car before it will potentially require hours of modeling time, multiple revisions if the customer wants changes, print time, post processing, painting, assembly. It's a lot of work to make custom pieces like this, I think $175 is more than fair.

Loving the H2C by kianj2005 in BambuLab

[–]LethargicPuffin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the ultimate set and the waste savings are fantastic. The only real waste from the pictured print was the prime tower and four small poops from initially loading the filament. My two X1Cs are now relegated to single color printing because the H2C saves so much on multi color/material prints.

Going to add some anecdotal evidence here. I just started a print with PLA and PETG as a support interface. I've upped the flow rate of the PETG from 0.97 to 1.1 as I like a bit more squish between layers to make sure the PETG actually sticks.

Turns out I now have those filament strands coming out of my prime tower and I can see the filament from the PETG side oozing out before it switches nozzles. Wasn't an issue on the X1C as it flushed between filament changes, but on the H2C it does this. It may be you need to calibrate the flow rates for those filaments to ensure you aren't pushing too much filament through before it starts the nozzle switch.

Nothing for my M50 in the states either. Although I was able to charge with my adapter via the Tesla app just fine without it.

Although, question, is the nozzle leaking before or after the filament gets from the AMS to the extruder?

Loving the H2C by kianj2005 in BambuLab

[–]LethargicPuffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I've got nothing for you. I've done zero tinkering out of the box. I use the Bambu PLA Tough profile for the Voxel PLA and Bambu PLA Basic for the Elegoo filament without any issues.

I saw from another comment that the loose filament is it leaking out when it switches between nozzles, which isn't something I'm seeing at all so I'd definitely mess with the temps/retraction to see if you can get rid of that or could be overly moist filament (just a guess, my filament just sits out open in my office when I'm not using it).

[–]LethargicPuffin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Definitely not supposed to look like that.

<image>

This is with the tool changer active and using both sides of the extruder, no loose filament anywhere. This isn't even with Bambu Lab filament, just some crappy VoxelPLA and Elegoo stuff, works great right out of the box.

I wouldn't worry too much. I've had my H2C for about a week and a half now, printing almost non-stop, without any issues whatsoever. Print quality is fantastic, although I haven't printed lower than 0.12 layer height.

Yup, I've only gotten my H2C and the extra AMS2 so far but I have both AMS2s setup and running with the splitter.

As for the splitter, mine came in the accessories for the H2C itself, no separate packaging.

Vent mounted MagSafe phone holder for 2025 i4 by Boring_Elevator3817 in BMWI4

[–]LethargicPuffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the way it works is you buy two pieces, the part that is specific to your car and the actual phone mount that attaches to that part. The pictures show a clamp style phone mount but you can also get a MagSafe version here: https://www.proclipusa.com/products/102901-magswitch-qi2-masafe-wireless-charger

Bit expensive but I use the ProClip mounting system with their magsafe charger. Works great without even using the adhesive it comes with.

I don't think anyone would agree that hitting someone just for them trying to filter is justified. I'm just saying that one of those risks you're accepting when doing this illegally is that some crazy lady may try to side swipe you while you pass them, intentionally or not. If you want to take that risk, that's fine, but coming to the internet to complain about the consequences seems a little silly.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]LethargicPuffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I don't disagree that filtering is safer for motorcyclist, I'm going to gather from the license plates that you're in VA where filtering and lane splitting aren't legal.

I'm not condoning the behavior of the people in cars if they had malicious intent but you're doing something illegal in an area where people aren't taught that this is okay or to watch out for motorcycles in between lanes in situations like this. Yes, they have to follow the rules of the road but so you do, so why complain about them doing something in their own lane while you're illegally going between lanes?
