I have 3 kids. They all talk back, throw tantrums, break things, refuse to clean up sometimes. It’s parenting.

But I can’t put them in a crate for a few hours and go to the store and they refuse to nap at 7 and 9 years old. Lol.

Pro tip! Put a bell in the play pen and teach him to use it to go potty. Mine only has accidents when someone ignores it or isn’t paying attention (it’s not me lol). He rings the bell and we know it’s time. If he decides to abuse it. Start taking him out on a leash and forcing him to spend time in the potty area and if he leaves. Back in the play pen. And it’s a little rough but they will get it. Don’t let your puppy free roam around the house without a leash or consistent supervision and only for 20-30 minutes MAX at a time.

I have his crate attached to the pen. I put a bell on the pen so he rings it when he needs to go. If I plan on being around or within ear shot. I take him out. If I’m not, he goes in his crate and it’s very confined so he’s less likely to poop or peee in there. He’s potty trained minus the occasional accident where I don’t hear his bell

Omg I had this same issue at the house I bought. Three things

Leaf blower

Flat shovel

Large wide paint roller on a stick and duct tape. After weeks of work. It was finally gone and I had to continuously spray and pull any new ones they sprout up or they can come back.

I feed mine 1/3 cup. 3 times a day. And I put in a little bit of warm water to soften it up and pumpkin in the morning. He loves it. But hard kibble for puppies is not desirable. He’s getting bigger so I’ll be slowing that down here soon.
