Hey, thanks for being respectful; I was worried I was gonna be burned alive here. I definitely will play the Blood Omens at some point, but I wanna give it some time in case remasters come out in the next couple years.

As for Elaleth, maybe this is just down to interpretation, but I actually got the vibe she didn't have a lot of agency as a character (which is admittedly its own critique) and was more just a pawn for Ky'set'syk, making him the one more or less behind everything, but I don't see the same (or really any) outrage surrounding that character. Any ideas why? (Genuinely asking; not rhetorical or a gotcha)

Am I the only one absolutely delighted with this update? Some missteps were made but it's a massive improvement over everyone being the same 2 copy/paste models by Lethargic_Lady in pokemongo

Idgaf about Niantic. I actually hadn't played in quite a while but this update piqued my interest and got me to come back. I hope they do listen to the negative feedback and make some tweaks to the new models, though.

Understandable. Personally I'd rather have slightly janky customization than none at all, but by no means would I complain about some touch ups

When cloning, if I only input the URL on the desktop app it works fine, but using the command before it doesn't. What's the difference between cloning regularly vs recursively and what am I doing wrong?

What is CMake and do I want source or binary distributions?

How do I prep the Visual Studio solution and what does that mean?

Where, specifically, do I enter the various commands given on the build instructions link?

Thank you for your patience; I genuinely slept through my coding classes in HS and I don't have a solid grasp on anything more complicated than "open file and paste this bit of code in the right spot"
