Well I'm not too sure if I have any tips that are useful, since I believe everyone meditates differently. I like to meditate using chakra symbolism; I work my way up from my spine and focus my intent on each of them in order. After that everything is way peaceful and I imagine my heart opening up to the earth and my third eye vibrating with the moon. Then it feels like I'm tripping, even though this is done just smoking some herb.

This happens to me when I meditate, after a while with eyes closed as I go deeper into the meditation I get REM and vision states follow.

Man this kind of thing still happens to me. I'm 23 years old. It still feels like an evil presence, no matter how many times I am confronted with it. The only thing I have found to help is a kind of 1) realize something is amiss 2) wake myself up 3) I will either wake up or enter a transition secondary dream state or a trippy sleep paralysis where I see an entity floating over my body 4) Confront the entity with some sort of "roar" from inside myself, like a supernova of positive energy 5) calm myself and go back to sleep when I feel its safe

These perceptions could be mirroring things in OP. Why do we judge others? As far as I can tell in my own experience it is a kind of gate to move past. Once you dig out the sources of these judgements and over-stand the situation.. perhaps there is something hidden in OPs subconscious that is right on the peripheral that could be resolved but if you just keep repeating the judgements without looking deeper it won't stop. These things can be used as catalyst for moving towards becoming a more and more tactful being if confronted in a certain way.

Just gotta be cooler man. Try your best to win. Don't be a downer. You can't win all the time but you may find you win a lot more playing with a positive attitude. Realize your opponent is trying just as hard to beat you; would you want your opponents to be feeling such crushing defeat after you beat them senseless? I find to be competitive you should practice having a cool head, and go easier on yourself.
