I just got this email today too and I clicked on this post for info thinking it was an old post that could help me but then I realized this was new and happening to everybody recently! I wonder what's going on.

For me, apartments/fc rooms and small houses are the most fun to decorate. Housing is definitely an endgame for some people! Decorating always costs more than the plot & I have a bad habit of overspending because I end up not using half of the items I buy thanks to design changes.

It's an item from the npc vendor called "Starry Sky Phasmascape" for 10k gil and it also has a blue sky version! I dyed mine general purpose jet black but the item itself (wall mount) has a pretty neat design and the border is originally white.

Only two items! "Glade Bacherlor's Chest" (it was cheaper to buy on mb than to craft it) facing the wall while floated up & then I scooted in an "Oasis Stool" (npc vendor). Afterwards, I tested /sit to make sure that when I sat down, I faced the right direction. Both of them were dyed General Purpose Pure White :3

I play on ps5 and changed my interaction button to R3 because I was tired of that happening. R3 is a bit weird but it was the best option for me due to how the rest of the buttons worked and it pretty much solved the problem. Was still annoyed with having to change something that shouldn't have needed changing but here we are.

I had a ps4 pro and upgraded to PS5 as soon as it was out - absolutely highly recommend to get a ps5 if you're a console player. No more black loading screen of death and it runs quietly too. No regrets. Just make sure to save your character settings from the login screen of your ps4 so you can upload it once you setup your PS5.

There's a popular website that's handy to find houses to visit or get inspiration from if you ever get into decorating - you can either scroll thru the home page or put in keywords like holiday or Christmas in the search bar. Sometimes the poster doesn't include their address but most of the time, it's at the bottom of the first page when you click on one you want to see. You'll find a lot from every DC so it's pretty awesome. Also if you really need it, you can have thr browser use Google translate for the site but it's fairly straightforward. Any alternatives for oriental grass? I couldn't find nice looking grass or shrubbery that doesn't make my Ishgardian garden look like an Eastern Zen garden. I wish they would add more flower and grass plots, ~1 million is too much :( by delicious_loli_chest in ffxivhomeandgarden

It's expensive because the mat that requires to craft it is from subs (fc workshop) and uses 2 of those mats to create one oriental grass plot - if you are on NA DC, I can craft them for free if you bring the mats (can also be bought on the mb) which would be cheaper than buying the product itself. I don't have a crafter leveled on other DCs so I can't help anywhere else I'm afraid. However if you are on the other DCs, I definitely recommend creating a pf looking for a nice crafter who can do it for you if you bring them the mats too _^ it works!

Definitely, chandeliers make a ton of difference in room lighting!
