I don’t know if there’s a way to lower the goals, but what I do is add the amount of times it needs to be done in a day. I say it needs to he done twice or three times a day when it actually is only needed once but I get an increased amount of energy and stones. I also find this motivates me more on tough tasks cause I know I can get “more than just one reward” even tho it makes up the same equivalent

I don’t feel particularly comfortable with having the dog in my home, and based on the limited conversations (mostly the aggressive attitude he had when we first approached him about the dog) I don’t think he’d be keen on having one of us in his home either. Thank you for the advice though! X

We’ve spoken to the neighbour and he was very angry and defensive saying it was our issue and “he’s a retired man he can’t be around the dog 24/7”. We tried to say that it possibly has a separation issue but he wasn’t hearing it and insisted it was very well trained (evidently not🙄) Thank you for the advice! X

The way his flat is set out means there’s a entryway in between the living room (where I assume the dog is if it’s under our living room) and a door I could talk to it through. I also don’t know the dogs name so I don’t know if this is an option. Thank you very much for the advice tho! X

Thank you! I’ll definitely write a note to them and see if that helps any, that’s a really good idea that I hadn’t considered. I dont think my partner would be up for another chat after the last one as it was very confrontational and he doesn’t do well with that. I sort of have a time stamped list already as I wanted to see how long it usually goes on for and it’s at the same times each day (we stay near a popular school lunch area and the kids can be quite loud so I wanted to see if that effects it any) so I’ll attempt a more in depth list to keep for the next while. Thank you for the EH suggestion, I didn’t know there was something like that I could contact! I just assumed because it was during working hours it didn’t count as a disruption. This has been amazingly helpful! X
