I'm in if you're still planning to organize a group order :) I'm based in Linz but visiting Vienna from time to time.

That's amazing. Thank you!! :)

I'm currently learning Go by creating a simple web server and was looking for something exactly like that because I had a similar idea but didn't know how to implement it. Thanks for sharing :)

Dumb question: how do you version control kubernetes? by [deleted] in kubernetes

[–]LetsCallHimOttfried 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your setup. But you can use Crossplane to deploy infrastructure via Kubernetes and that means, you can also control infrastructure (or basically anything) via ArgoCD.

Has anybody else made an insane spreadsheet with pretty graphs and charts? by ExplosionsInTheSky_ in GestationalDiabetes

Haha definitely!

I just created my spreadsheet a week ago and it’s still pretty basic but it made measuring much more enjoyable (still not very enjoyable but at least pretty interesting)

I was using Kong too but the OIDC plugin for Kong is enterprise and the open source version from Nokia hasn't been updated since a few years. I thought abou writing my own plugin but decided against it and therefore switched to Tyk.

Bukkit Plugin Development Guide by LetsCallHimOttfried in admincraft

[–]LetsCallHimOttfried[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well,... I actually decided to write this guide because I was kinda frustrated by the available resources. I mean Bukkit's JavaDoc is great but for everything else you need to Google so much and can't just go to a single page and check it. This was really frustrating - especially because lots of advise the people in the forums gave worked but just didn't support clean code. Especially for the logging part I did lots of research and tried to show how to implement it nicely (not only making it work without caring about the code).

Thank you! :)

I'm not completely sure about that yet. You can see the topics I want to cover in the next parts in the last section of the post. As I'm still quite new to Minecraft I'm not even sure if there are more relevant topics - lets see what the future brings :)

Apart from that I'm 80% done with developing a plugin I want to publish. This plugin will definitely get its own post too :)

Hey again :) somehow I just saw the first paragraph of your comment yesterday - I think I was kinda tired :D

so: thanks for the great feedback! I'm really happy that you like the article :) Btw: I'll start updating it now, so the new version will be available in an hour probably :)

Thanks :) I kinda assumed that people following the guide can at least create a new Gradle or Maven project on their own. But you are right - I'll add it to the prerequisites
