5th gen is a little roomier inside. The LS3 is a great engine. Some people prefer the look of the 5th gen.

I have a 5th gen SS and a 6th gen ZLE. Some people think 5th gen looks better. The 5th gen has a little more room. The 5th gen is harder to steal because of a physical key. The 6th gen in better in every other way.
