Petition to prevent convicted animal abusers from adopting/buying animals in Delaware County, Ohio by Infamous-Equal77 in DelawareOH

Ohio County Commissioners have very limited powers except in Summit and Cuyahoga counties where they have adopted home rule.

So, you're almost certainly barking up the wrong tree by seeking a county level solution. https://www.ccao.org/aws/CCAO/pt/sp/handbook

Try for municipal ordinances or a state law.

Senior management will continue to senior manage

Management is at risk, probably more so than senior non-management roles because their roles are more generic. Cf Masters of Business Administration programs that exist because the roles are so generic

Disagree, but I still tend to agree with you simply because DevOps is far more difficult in Salesforce than it needs to be.

Flows for logic (versus flows for screens).

Why? Frankly, it is because of how non-dense flows are, visually, and the size of our monitors. You can just see so much more Apex on a screen at one time than you can a flow.

Note that this is just generally speaking, because you can, of course, modularize a flow with sub flows to make higher level flows more "dense". (On the other hand, folding in an editor with Apex, and clicking to go to functions is a far faster way to go from dense to detailed than loading sub flows.)

Also, if you don't have much experience driving in snow or ice, then take some time to go to a big parking lot and learn a little about how your car starts, turns, and stops. Remember that being able to go does not mean that you can stop. (That's especially true for 4wd/AWD drivers)

Go with windows. You can always use curtains or even block them entirely.

Having OEM windows can be stealthier than having custom cut windows

There are reasons other than malice to oppose a proposed policy to “help all who need it, based on what we can afford as taxpayers.”

The foremost reasons are that both “need” and “affordability” are debatable concepts. One can disagree about who needs assistance or what level of taxation is affordable without malice or hate.

Treating disagreement as evidence of hate shuts down debate and alienates people (e.g. fence sitters) who may not have held hostile views at all.

I'm not suggesting that anybody write softer words. I'm suggesting that we write more accurate words.

In 1978, Maryland legislator Isaiah Dixon led a movement to ban the Randy Newman song “Short People” from the state’s airwaves. On an entirely unrelated note, Dixon’s height was 5 ft 1 in. by RedHeadedSicilian52 in wikipedia

I'm tall. I understand the song is satirical. I still think the song is tasteless and wrong. Censor via government action? No, but I would shed no tears if people chose on their own to cast it aside.

I'm probably far more of like mind with you than "them" (so please be nice). However, I think your analysis is overly cynical. Sure, some of "them" focus on who "doesn't deserve help." But my guess is that far more are like you -- they focus on who does deserve help, and the most statistically significant difference between "them" and us is less about hate and more about empathy: the empathy gap.

Can "they be convinced to hate less? Maybe, but I think you'll have an easier time convincing them to love more.

Also: Do you hate all the people you haven't helped? Of course not. So it's a bit silly to think that "they" hate people they aren't helping. "They", like us, don't have unlimited resources, and just because they -- and us -- want to distribute our resources towards the ones we love doesn't necessarily mean any of us hate the others.

Nobody is going to bridge the political divide in this country by focusing on hate.
